Release + Review - Corrupt Knight & Corrupt Princess - Tracy Lorraine

 Corrupt Knight

The night we met, she was just another one-night stand.

We were never meant to see each other again, and my best friend certainly wasn’t supposed to go and fall in love with her best friend.

Collateral damage… she’s already broken my biggest rule when we hooked up for a second, third, fourth, and maybe a few more times.

She’s everywhere I turn. I can’t escape her or the things she makes me feel.

Thanks to my best friend wanting to do anything to make his girl happy, she’s the newest teacher at Knight’s Ridge College.

If I needed to stay away before, now I have no choice. Not only is she an obsession I don’t need… she’s forbidden.

But I’ve never been as good at following the rules, so much as breaking them. I need to be careful before she gets too close to break me.

The consuming darkness inside threatens to take over following my father’s death, and I find myself craving her light even more than ever.

The only problem is, I don’t want her to rescue me. I want to drag her down… corrupt her.

We’re a match made in hell that first night we met, so why stop now when playing with fire is so much fun.

Louise's Review

Corrupt Knight is book 13 in the Knight's Ridge Empire and the book 1 of 3 for Nico!! I have been hanging for this story for a long time now and he did not disappoint. She was perfect, up for anything and matched me in so many ways .. she came into my world and didn't want to let her go. I pushed her away and she didn't give up on me when i had given up on myself. I personally loved this story and couldn't put it down, i jumped straight into Corrupt Princess where their story continues. Corrupt Princess

USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Tracy Lorraine brings you the next instalment of her forbidden dark mafia, high school bully romance story set in the Knight's Ridge Empire world.

I learned from a very young age that the only person I could count on was myself.

For years I’ve been content with meaningless one-night stands and zero promises for tomorrow.

I had a good thing going, until he crashed his way into my life… and heart, and wrecked them both.

Nico Cirillo.

The bad boy mafia prince and the one man who’s ever left me craving more. Not that I’ll admit that.

And now, he’s not only a mistake I’ve made time and time again, he’s everywhere I turn.

Taunting me.
Tempting me.

Doing everything in his power to screw up my life, tarnish my reputation, and corrupt the only dream I’ve ever had.

But while I’m pushing as hard as I can to keep him away, his reckless decisions and hot-headed behaviour have forced him to reconsider.

His U-turn is enough to give me whiplash, but it’s nowhere near enough for me to lower my walls and let him in.

To give him a chance he doesn’t deserve.

It’s going to take more than a bit of grovelling after all the ways he’s hurt me, even if it is on his knees.

Louise's Review
Corrupt Princess is book 14 in the Knight's Ridge Empire and it has it all. Nico started to finally come back from the destruction he created. Nico and Bri have crazy hot chemistry that is off the charts. Bri is trying to make her dreams come true, lets just hope Nico has ruined it all for her. I personally loved this story, I am on the edge of my seat wondering how Tracy is going to conclude this trilogy, bring on Corrupt Union ASAP!!! Our Review:

What a cute little novella! I loved it. It was a quick read, but it packed one heck of a punch. Not to mention the entire premise of their resort idea sounds amazing! I would spend my money to go there. If you have read this author before you will spot a pretty big cameo as well. 10/10 stars!

Review-Good Trouble-Lani Lynn Vale

Bain met Diana, a.k.a. Luce, the night before he was set to deploy to Afghanistan.

It’s not every day that you take your brother’s girlfriend to prom because he refuses to put out the effort.

That night was one of the best nights of his life and the next day, he leaves and doesn’t see her again.

But there are letters. Not many, but enough for them to form a connection.

Over the two-year deployment, they became great friends.

The best of friends—at least, as good of friends as you can be when it’s your brother’s wife.

Fast-forward six years and she still counts him as one of her greatest friends. Even going as far as to stick by him when he’s sent to prison because his own brother turned on him.

***

Luce had a crush on her then-boyfriend’s brother since way before she and Bain’s brother were married. From the moment he volunteered to take her to prom, she’d fallen.

Over the years, she’d tried to hide it. Tried to go on with her life and act like she loved her husband and only her husband. But as time went on and Braxton started to treat her more and more like crap, she realized the truth. Her husband wasn’t Bain. Her husband would never be him.

Hell, that’d been proven time and time again.

The smoking gun, though? The thing that made her realize it was time to leave?

When her husband stood by while she was assaulted, while the man she tried to act like was just a friend protected her. Then was sentenced to eight years in jail for it.

It was time to admit the truth.

Bain McDempsey was it for her. She just had to help him see it. Oh, and get him out of prison first.

Our Review

"Brother's ex-wife, 5 stars"

I love a good taboo relationship story and like always, Vale delivered. Bain Diana/Luce when she was dating his brother. Actually it was prom night. When his brother pulls a fantastically douchy move Bain steps in. That night was the start of the bond between these two. One that over time grew so much that he ended up serving time for protecting her. When he gets out of jail though she's single and well, Bain could really care less about what others think.
These two were a long time coming and Vale built it up perfectly. Do yourself a favor and grab this one.

Review-Nobody Cares UNless You're Pretty- Lani Lynn Vale

The problem with Wake was that he was understandable. He was the type of villain that literally scared the absolute shit out of you because you knew that under the right circumstances, you could end up exactly like him.

Which, sadly, was the case for me.

I’d done the exact same thing as Wake, and now I was a murderer just like him.

Did I know that I did wrong? Hell yes.

Did I regret that? Hell no.

Did I plan on changing a thing? Also, no.

Was I falling in love with a man that should scare the shit out of me? A resounding hell yes.

Our Review

"Another series, 5 stars"

Okay, when we met Wake in Bram's book I wanted him right then. Dude intrigued me. He's wealthy but has also spent time behind bars? Hand him over. You also meet his woman Dutch in that book and it was the perfect lead in.
I loved how Dutch was just as crazy as Wake. She was willing to risk it all and did. All he wanted to do was protect her. There were twists and turns, spice and more. This book has it all and I was here for it.

Review- Suck This- Lani Lynn Vale

Blood, sex and alcohol.

That was what Club Worth was all about.

Ever since vampires had come out to the world, people had been obsessed. Take a walk on the wild side and see what the nightclub was all about.

Acadia Powell, on the other hand, didn’t do vampires. Nor did she do messy.

What she did do was stay away from people like Constantine Worth, Master of the City, and the most gorgeous man in the history of men. It didn’t matter that he had hypnotizing eyes, beautiful lips, and the sexiest body she’d ever had the privilege of laying eyes on.

It should be easy for her to stay away, but with each subsequent encounter, it’s becoming harder and harder to fight the growing need inside of her.

***

Constantine Worth knew that Acadia was off limits. Not only was she human and not willing to slum it with the undead, but she was also the baby sister of the city’s chief of police. The man that liked to arrest him every other day and twice on Sunday.

He should hate her based solely on the last name she shared with her brother. Yet each time he sees her, he forgets that he’s supposed to be playing nice. She sets his blood to boil, and each time she lets the verbal slurs flow, he finds it harder and harder to maintain his distance.

Soon, he will have to make a choice. Maintain his upstanding relationship with human law enforcement, or take what he wants, and damn the consequences.

Our Review

"Vampire Goodness, 5 stars"

It's no secret I love everything Vale writes. This time though, I won't lie, I was leery. I love vampire stories but they aren't what I know Vale for. Long story short she now has me believing she can write anything she decides to type out. Constantine is an incredibly old vampire who happens to have a thing for a woman (Acadia) who hates vampires. Make it make sense. Long story short though, he wins her over and changes her mind. The chemistry between these two was perfection.

Review-Never Trust the Living- Lani Lynn Vale

It’s not every day that someone tries to pin a murder on you and a random girl you just met. But Bram Crow isn’t your average, everyday guy, either.

One second, he’s hiding evidence with the girl, and the next, he has to marry her so a police detective doesn’t get suspicious.

Did he mention that he had a long-term girlfriend at the time?

To say that things didn’t go as planned would be an understatement.

To say that falling in love with his wife definitely wasn’t part of the plan either.

Nor was her leaving him when he finally realized she was his world.

Our Review:

"Speak now or forever hold your piece, 5 stars"

I feel like I've been waiting on Bram and Dory's story for forever. These two, *sigh*. They are the very definition as to why you should never leave words unspoken. Their relationship started off unorthodox then stayed that way. It was complete torture. My heart ached for Dory and I wanted to slam Bram's head into a wall a thousand and one times. Finally though our boy pulled his head out of where the sun doesn't shine and got it together in the knick of time. It was a fantastic end to the series that left you on your toes until the last page. Vale killed it with this one.
