I love these kind of books, my kind of easy readers. I never have to think too hard or skip pages it's just easy reading from start to finish.
To start with, I really enjoyed the back drop of all the amazing Canadian snow and the world of snowboarders/skiers. I don't know too much about this kind of thing but it made me want to go play in the snow!
Sloan and Jake were great lead characters, both gorgeous both with secrets and a little messed up from one thing or another. Made for a perfect couple. I loved how they developed a great friendship first and you pick out the chemistry as it sizzled so much. They both had some baggage that made for some sad and emotional scenes which made me back the characters more in their journeys.
With all the fantastic background to this book I was quite surprised when Sloan takes a small trip and you see another fantastic place with some equally exciting and endearing characters. I love how so much was thrown in to a relatively short book, it made it full on and action packed.
Great ending which I was thoroughly pleased with, although I was a bit disappointed not to find out who won the race at the end. :)
