Release - Forbidden Fate - Mary Catherine Gebhard

I only had one rule: don’t fall in love with the cruel prince.
I broke it.
When the clock struck twelve, I went back to being a servant. He promised to let me go with my heart in pieces...but Grayson Crowne was always king at breaking promises.
I refuse to let him lock me in a tower.
I have no choice but to take the only out offered to me--another cruel prince.
Refuge in a man I loathe.
Rescued from the man I love.
I wanted to forget Grayson, forget Crowne Hall, and hide, but fate has other plans.
But if Grayson and I are fated, then our fate is forbidden.
Our happily ever after will only end one way...in heartbreak.

Release + Review - The First Score - Amie Knight

There was something about that first score, and not just on the football field.

The First Score, an all-new, new adult, sports romance from Amie Knight is available now!

I loved all of life's firsts, which was why I’d been saving mine for one girl, my older sister’s best friend—Hazel Jones.

She was tough and sarcastic with walls around her heart as tall as a football stadium, but I knew she was the one for me.

Desperate times called for desperate measures and I’d have done anything to make her mine.

Like create a fake online persona.
Lie about my age.
Pretend I wasn’t some naive virgin.

And catfish the hell out of the love of my life.

Louise's Review
The First Score is a standalone novel that is a slow building romance, Falling for your older sister's best friend.

From the moment Oliver met Hazel he knew she was special, as the years went on he fell more and more for her. When he sees an opening to finally get her attention, he takes it. When everything comes to light has it pushed her further away or will her reaction surprise not just him but her too.

I personally enjoyed this story, there was more than just a romance story; It touched on subjects that are real. Knight is a new to me author and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.

Release + Review - Sweet Spot - Rebecca Jenshak

🔥🔥 NEW RELEASE ðŸ”¥ðŸ”¥
Sweet Spot by Rebecca Jenshak is LIVE and FREE in Kindle Unlimited!

ABOUT THE BOOK
A hot-headed college golfer falls for her swing coach in this fun and sexy sports romance.

Lincoln Reeves may be a pro golfer and revered swing coach, but when I meet him, he is just one more person telling me I’m not good enough.
So, I do what any girl in my position would do. I tell him to get lost and take his arrogant, annoying smirk with him. I never expect to see him again. I certainly don’t expect to run into him that same night after one too many tequila shots.
Turns out that he’s kind of a big deal. Okay, fine, a really big deal. In fact, he might be the one person who can take my game to the next level.
Convincing him to help will be difficult.
Not throwing my club at his handsome face when he makes me work harder than I thought humanly possible will be excruciating.
But not falling for him will be the hardest thing of all.

Johnaka's Review
“can they find their sweet spot, 5 stars”

Okay, I’m going to be completely transparent. I loathe, and I mean loathe with a passion of a thousand burning suns golf. I don’t understand it. It puts me to sleep. But I highly enjoy Jenshak’s books. So, when I saw Sweet Spot, I was lightly hesitant. I decided to go for it though and I’m glad I did. Jenshak made me question if golf was really that bad. I loved Lincoln and Kiera that much. You should totally take a chance on Sweet Spot. Besides who doesn’t love a good sports romance? Especially one with a slight age gap.

Kiera loves golf. She eats, sleeps, and plays. Guys are barely on her radar. When she meets Lincoln, her starting spot is on the line. She will do anything to be the best so even though its hard she takes his advice. The more they talk, the more they spend time together, the feelings grow. Will they be able to keep their hands off each other? One way to find out…

Jennifer's Review
Sigh. That hit my Sweet Spot. Sweet Spot was an amazing experience. Seriously, I fell in love with this story. I wasn't too sure at first because well golf, but I was surprised with how much I loved it. I am so happy I took a chance on it.

The plot of the book is great. College student athlete needs a little help reaching her goals. Enter sexy former golf player who happens to run a company helping players. Fate? Destiny? Whatever you call it, it sets up an amazing little romance I couldn't put down.

The characters in this book were great. I really loved the way they each had noticing factors that clearly drove them to make the decisions they made. I love most the support the characters had. Not just the main ones, but the minor characters too. It was sweet and endearing.

There is plenty of heat and tension in this book. It is perfect for the story. I also loved the dual point if views and the way the author laid the story out. It kept me drawn in until the very last page. I cannot wait to see what's next!

Release + Review - Pride - Willow Aster

🔥🔥 NEW RELEASE 🔥🔥
Pride by Willow Aster is LIVE and FREE in Kindle Unlimited!

I was raised to be Jadon Safrin’s enemy.
My father was the king of Alidonia and wanted to rule all of the kingdoms, which meant trouble for Jadon when he became king of Farrow.
When war threatened to break out between our countries and I met Jadon face-to-face, I realized I could become his greatest weakness.
I could either do the right thing, or I could let him crash and burn, paving the way for my family to get their greatest wish.
But I’d never met a man like Jadon, pure of heart and unparalleled bravery, and when all was said and done, maybe in truth, I was nothing but a pawn.
He would be my demise.

Johnaka's Review
“The end, 5 stars”

I loved the Kingdom of Sin series and I was seriously sad to see it come to an end. Pride is all about well pride. Jadon knows someone is after him and he has suspicion of who. But he refuses to hide and cower. Because that’s not what his people needs and well…he has way to much pride to do that. But when Jadon meets his match he’s willing to set aside his pride to get the girl. Only the enemy is drawing near. Are their lives at stake? Only one way to find out.

This series is the first series I’ve read of Aster’s and I’m impressed. I cannot wait to see what she does next. If made up royal stories are your jam, look no further. Pride is what you need.

Excerpt:

“You’re fucking brilliant.”
“Huh?” Ezra asks absentmindedly, paying more attention to the flame under his pan than to my compliment. “What’d you say?”
“I said you’re brilliant.” I hold up the iPad I’m using to read his manuscript. “Your book, the YLA story, is incredible, Ez.”
“Oh. Thanks.” He flashes me a smile and then goes back to his French toast. “The key to getting this right is the milk-to-bread ratio.”
I hop off the counter and walk over to stand beside him at the stove. “Would you forget about your French toast for a minute and listen to me?”
“But it’s stuffed French toast.” He takes the pan off the burner and pulls me into his arms. “And I could listen to you all day. What were you saying? Something about me being a handsome, sexy genius?”
“Um…those weren’t my exact words.” I laugh up at him.
“I could have sworn that’s what you said, and I’m never wrong.” He slides his hands over my ass in a pair of his boxer shorts. “Some even say I’m fucking brilliant.”
“They probably just like your big dick,” I whisper and blink up at him as innocently as I can manage.
“I get that a lot.” He drops a kiss on my head and turns back to his French toast. I lean down to rest an elbow on the counter and watch him work.
“A lot?” I ask teasingly. “Have there been a lot?”
He pauses mid-toast-flip and slants me a glance. “Are you asking how many people I’ve had sex with?”
“I mean, it’s none of my business. If you don’t want to—”
“Eight.”
Eight?
Lord above, only eight?!
“Oh.” I straighten and rest my hip against the counter. “What a, um, single-digit number that is.”
“What about you?”
What about me? I’m tabulating years of hook-ups, one-night stands, fuck bois and carrying the one.
“If you don’t want to,” he says, cracking an egg into a bowl, “it’s fine. I don’t care how many people—”
“I don’t know.”
He glances up from whisking eggs, a small frown puckering his dark brows. “You don’t know what?”
“My number. I don’t know how many people I’ve been with.”
He resumes whisking, his frown clearing. “Oh.”
The whisking eggs and whirring refrigerator are the only sounds in the kitchen. I’ve never been embarrassed by my choices. I enjoy sex. I’ve had it with a lot of people. People I really liked…or tolerated…but didn’t want to commit to. I’ve always been safe and never mean about it. I was upfront, and when someone wanted more, I let them know “more” wasn’t an option.
“I just never…” I cross my arms over my stomach, fold one bare foot over the other. “I haven’t been interested in committed relationships. There hasn’t been anyone I wanted that with.”
“Tru.” He stops whisking and gives me the full impact of his undivided attention. His eyes are placid blue. No shadows or undercurrents. “I don’t care.” Ezra pushes the bowl aside and faces me. “But there is something I feel like we should be clear on regarding how you’ve handled sex in the past.”
Here we go.
“You’ve never wanted to commit before,” he says.
“Right. I’ve never wanted any strings attached.”
“I know I said we could be just sex, no emotional attachments.” He shoves his hands in his pockets. “But I feel like I have to be honest with you. Having you back in my life has been…it’s been exactly what I need, and what I felt last night… I’ve never felt that way before.”
I’m not even sure my heart is beating, but it also feels like there’s a tumult in my chest. “What are you saying, Ez?”
His mouth flattens into a hard line and his jaw hardens to stone. “I want strings.”
“Y-you do?”
“I want strings.” He links our fingers, strokes his thumb across my palm. “Ropes, if necessary. I want anything that keeps you with me and me with you and tells everyone else don’t even think about it.”
I’m stunned and incredibly turned on, but that doesn’t take much where Ezra’s concerned.
“You…you do?” I ask faintly…again.
“I wouldn’t do well sharing you.”

Release + Review - You Belong With Me - Kristen Proby

“A suspense filled version of the Montgomery’s! So sexy and full of angst! This is a side of Kristen Proby that I’m dying to read more of!” -#1 NYT Bestselling Author Rachel Van Dyken

From New York Times bestselling Author Kristen Proby comes an all new stand-alone novel in her beloved With Me In Seattle Series…

You Belong with Me is now live!

Elena Watkins is used to getting what she wants. She grew up the daughter of one of the most powerful mafia bosses on the west coast, an indulged, rich girl who got away with everything.

Except the love of her life.

Archer was the king of their high school. His charming grin swept her off her feet. Days after graduation, they ran away together and eloped. Elated to spend the rest of their lives together, Archer and Elena were on cloud nine.

Until Elena’s father discovered what they’d done.

He swore to keep them apart, even if it meant taking Archer’s life. Knowing what her father was capable of, Elena left Archer, and never looked back. The pain of leaving him would pale to the pain of losing him.

That’s what she’s told herself every day for twelve years. But now her father is dead, and Archer is back. Finally, they should be able to piece the broken pieces of their love back together.

But the mafia has a long memory.

Johnaka's Review
“Finally! 5 stars”

Okay, so I’m a huge fan of the With me in Seattle series, so I feel like I’ve been waiting for Archers story FOREVER! And here it is! *Cue girly scream*

Archer fell in love and married young only for her to go MIA. She came from a family with questionable ties. Ever since, he’s been looking for her. He knows his wife would never willingly leave him. When he finds her, will he still love her? Has he been living with ghosts of his past and let them shadow his time with her? Only one way to find out.

Proby just has a way with words. It’s not fair. She pulls you in and doesn’t let you up until those two words at the end. You belong with Me was everything I could have hoped for it to be. I just hope Proby gives us another sneak peak of this couple later on again.

Excerpt:

Prologue

~ Elena ~

Twelve Years Ago

I’ve always hated this room. My father’s office is grand, full of honey oak bookcases, a massive chandelier, and a desk in the center of the space that’s bigger than the bed I sleep on. Floor-to-ceiling windows are at his back and look out over the estate that he insisted on but, in large part, ignores.
Whenever I’m due for a massive lecture, this is where he drags me.
“May I please speak with you?”
“What is it?” He doesn’t look up from his computer, which doesn’t surprise me.
Paying attention to his daughter has never been a priority for this man.
I’ll just share my news and go straight to my room, pack my things, and be out of here for good.
I can almost smell the freedom. I can’t wait to move in with my husband. My husband. That word makes me want to spin in circles of excitement. Archer and I will make a home and have babies. His family is wonderful, and there will be so much love in our household. Our kids will never question whether we love them. They’ll never be afraid. And when the time comes, they’ll be able to marry whomever they please.
“I got married.” I square my shoulders and lift my chin. “Three days ago.”
I’m not afraid of my father. Not now. But my stomach quivers with butterflies.
I’m eighteen years old. An adult. And I’m able to make my own decisions without influence from my parents.
What can he do? What’s done is done. He looks up from his desk, and his cold eyes narrow.
“And who, exactly, did you marry, Elena?”
“Archer Montgomery.”
He sets his pen aside and leans back in his big, black chair, silently watching me. His calculating stare makes me want to squirm, but I hold steady.
“Isn’t that the boy I told you to stop seeing a year ago?”
“He’s a good man, Dad. If you’d just give him a chance—”
He stands and paces behind the desk, looking out the windows and shoving his hands into his pockets.
Maybe he’ll just tell me to leave. That would be the best-case scenario.
“What is your last name, Elena?”
“Montgomery.”
“Don’t.” His voice isn’t loud, but it’s firm.
“Watkins.”
He turns and stares at me impassively. “That’s right. And that last name, along with the Martinellis’, holds more weight than you can ever fully understand. It means that, as my daughter, you don’t have the freedom to marry whomever you choose, whenever you decide to do it.”
“I’m an adult.”
“You’re my daughter!” I blink at the spurt of anger. He’s not impassive now. His eyes shoot daggers at me, and sweat breaks out across my skin.
“Dad, I love him.”
He shakes his head and waves off my comment as if it’s an annoying fly buzzing around his head.
“We’ll have it annulled immediately.”
“No.”
He lifts an eyebrow. I’ve never told my father no. I don’t think anyone in his life ever has. No one would dare. “Excuse me?”
I lift my chin again. “No.”
He stalks around his desk and grips my arm just above my elbow, almost painfully, and drags me through the house, up the stairs, and into my bedroom.
“You’re putting me in time out?”
“I should have done this a long time ago. You’re too spoiled. Too indulged. You think you can defy me, go against what’s best for the family like this?”
We keep moving quickly through the room to my closet, where he pulls a sash off my robe, yanks my arms above my head, and ties me to the light fixture in the middle of the room.
He steps back, barely breathing hard.
“This is where you’ll stay until you come to your senses.”
And then he walks out.

About Kristen:
Kristen was born and raised in a small resort town in her beloved Montana. In her mid-twenties, she decided to stretch her wings and move to the Pacific Northwest, where she made her home for more than a dozen years.
During that time, Kristen wrote many romance novels and joined organizations such as RWA and other small writing groups. She spent countless hours in workshops, and more mornings than she can count up before the dawn so she could write before going to work. She submitted many manuscripts to agents and editors alike, but was always told no. In the summer of 2012, the self-publishing scene was new and thriving, and Kristen had one goal: to publish just one book. It was something she longed to cross off of her bucket list.
Not only did she publish one book, she’s since published close to thirty titles, many of which have hit the USA Today, New York Times and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists. She continues to self publish, best known for her With Me In Seattle and Boudreaux series, and is also proud to work with William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins, with the Fusion Series.
