Bloody Heart is book 4 in the Brutal Birthright series, Danteโs story gives you a side of him you never knew.
With a 9 year jump from the past to the present you meet Simone, the one that Dante fell for but ultimately got away. The life that he thought he would live was gone and he was fulfilling his role within the family until she walked back into his life. When actions from Danteโs past start threating the people he loves he wont stop until everyone is safe.
I personally enjoyed this story, I did not see this storyline coming at all and Lark continues to draw me in sitting on the edge of my seat until the very end.

โCould we find another analogy? I hate being compared to something that destroys lives.โ
Owen chuckles, lifting my fingers to his lips. โHow about this, then? Youโre every dream I never knew I had. I didnโt believe in soulmates until I met you. Youโre it for me, Tally.โ
God, I hate him. I hate when he says things so profound and moving, and he looks so damn earnest and yet manages to smash my heart into bits on the ground. I pull my hand back, massaging the palm with my thumb. โOnly one problem with that, Owen. I donโt believe you anymore.โ
โThen Iโll prove it to you.โ
I laugh, not because itโs funny but because itโs such a well-worn line. โSure, you will.โ
โWill you give me a chance?โ
โOwen, Iโve given you nothing but chances.โ

โLove me.โ Owen sinks to the ground, peppering my calves with kisses. โIโll gladly stay on my knees until you forgive me.โ
I skate a finger down his nose and across his lips. โYou canโt solve things with sex. Even our mind-blowing sex.โ
โIโll make you a million promises, but you have to be willing to believe them.โ
โWhat promises do you plan to make?โ

โI had to be perfect for you.โ Owen clears his throat, that low, gravelly chuckle rising up from his chest. He steps in between my legs, hiking my skirt up to very unladylike heights. Not that Iโm complaining. โEnough about the type of men you wonโt date. Tell me about the men you will.โ
I tap my finger against my chin as I bite back a smile. โLetโs see. Well, he has to be smart.โ
โTwo plus two is four.โ
I giggle, gliding my hands along the planes of his chest. โGenius level, sir. He also has to be kind.โ
โI helped an old lady just last night.โ
I guffaw, my eyes widening. โYouโd better not be referring to when you picked my ass up off the ground, buddy.โ
Heโs got the most endearing smile. Some smiles are too perfectโthe teeth sculpted and whitened to a neon glowโbut his are straight and white without dipping into social media influencer territory. The dimples sure arenโt hurting his cause, either, or the way he catches his lower lip with his teeth. โDefinitely not referring to you, although having you in my arms was the highlight of the evening.โ
Iโm tempted to look away from his intense stare, but opt to meet it head-on. My fingers slide down his torso, hooking in his jeans, and I feel his breath hitch. โMost importantly, he needs to know how to touch me.โ
Oblivious to the crowd, Owen cups my ass, bringing me against him. His mouth drips kisses along my jaw as his fingers run the length of my spine. โI could spend years touching you and never get bored. Our Review:
WOW!! Now that was a way to finish of the Kennedy Boys series, after 10 books I am sad to say goodbye to this family and I think Siobhan saved the best till last.
Kent is the playboy and the troubled / reckless Kennedy; everyone thinks they know Kent and when he meets Presley she doesnโt think any different. Presley isnโt falling for the Kent Kennedy charm which makes him want her even more.
I cannot say anymore without ruining anything for you but do not hesitate you need this story ASAP!
โYou reformed yourself, Kent. Never forget that no one can save you if you donโt save yourself first.โ
I feel like I have been waiting for this story forever, after reading Adoring Keaton I wasnโt sure how I felt about Kent, but after reading his story I think he might have latched onto my heart and is my favourite Kennedy.
