“Duke and Lucy, 5 stars”
The Bribe is Willa Nash’s first book, and I knew it was going to be everything. Why? Because Willa Nash is also Devney Perry and she is one of my favorite small town romance authors. So to say that I was pumped when this hit my kindle would be an understatement. And like usual, she freaking killed it.
Duke and Lucy, *sigh* I loved them. The meet-cute was adorable and had me laughing right off the bat. I swooned and said nooo when I thought it was short-lived; I cheered when they ran into each other again. I begged and pleaded for Lucy to be open and honest with Duke. With Duke I kept crossing my fingers he wouldn’t fumble. But never fear that man was as steady as they come. Add in a little suspense and I was sucked in until the very last page. One thing is for sure, I cannot wait for the next book in the series.
