Review: The Edge of Never
The Edge of Never by J.A. Redmerski
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
I still can't believe it took me so long to get to this book. It was truly amazing. I wish i had read it sooner.
Started off quite slow with Camryn showing her life before and why she decides to up and off to nowhere in particular. A different sort of road trip. She has had the worst of luck over the last few years and needs to get away from it all. With no real plans she just jumps on a bus to nowhere. I loved that, you didn't really know what would happen it was all a surprise.
Meeting Andrew was exciting, he was obviously exactly what she needed. So it was just a case of watching their friendship bloom and the 'will they, won't they' dance that goes on.
I loved the setting and the relationship between Camryn and Andrew they weren't in anyway annoying characters and I was straight away dying for them to get together. You see how they develop as friends and then more. The things they do are exciting and ticking off the things Camryn has never experienced or tried.
I love the unspoken questions of what kind of relationship sexually they would have, Andrew shows very dominant characteristics and Camryn drops hints and makes comments on how she would like her sexual experiences to play out and you just know they would make a great couple sexually.
There is a huge shocker towards the end that I 100% did not see coming. It was huge and totally turned the story around. Typical of the books i seem to be reading lately i was bawling like a baby towards the end again. Pffft quite annoying really. lol.
Anyway can't wait for the next book, and not long to go!!
