Our Review:

On The Line is a Young Adult romance book. It was a quick read and a standalone. For me, this book should've been read in less than 3 hours but it dragged in the beginning, like I really didn't want to finish it. However at the halfway point, it got better. I would recommend this book for anyone that is is 16 to 25 years old. It does have some mature context in it.

The plot was what got better as the story continued. I was really bored at the beginning.
It's about how two people of different races can have a relationship and not worry about what other people think. How in life stuff happens and you should let the person you care about know.

Mila was a student taking a train to school. She has a mom that cares about her and doesn't want her to get hurt. On the train one day, that is where she meets Kaleb.
Kaleb, that boy, I felt bad for him for what his Dad did. Mila and Kaleb had a nice bond together. Mila and Kaleb are the two main characters however the supporting characters are who I liked the best in this story. To me Mila and Kaleb were blah and the supporting characters, their friends were what made this story get 3 stars.

The writing style was just ok. I wish it grasped me from the beginning. I did see some minor errors, but it didn't take away from the story.

Some quotes I liked:

"He totally Note booked you."

"I'm your girl, your ace, your other half, the sisterhood to your traveling pants."

Overall On the line was an ok story for me. If you are older than 25 you might not like this story, again just my opinion as I feel it is for the younger folks.  If you like quick reads, and like young adult genre  that  has mature context in it then I would say you might enjoy this book.
