Release+Review-Tragic-Devney Perry

TRAGIC
Lark Cove Book 3
By Devney Perry
Release Day – NOVEMBER 13th
Standalone

Kaine Reynolds wants nothing more than solitude. After an unthinkable tragedy destroys his family, he’s cut off all ties to his former life so he can battle his grief the only way he knows how.
Alone.
So when Piper Campbell knocks on his door, rambling on about being his new neighbor, he slams the door in her face.
But Kaine’s gruff demeanor doesn’t scare her. She’s set on living in Montana and starting over after a terrible divorce. And she wouldn’t mind having a fling to chase away the pain of her husband’s betrayal. Her handsome, albeit rude, neighbor is the perfect candidate.
Yet what neither of them suspect is that their no-strings affair will result in the surprise of Piper’s lifetime—and Kaine’s worst fear.

OUR REVIEW
“The title says it all, 5 stars”

Piper has been burned to the core and she is starting over. When her boss convinces her to move, she can’t help but say yes, especially where her ex-husbands face won’t be plastered all over for her to see every day. She has no designs for a relationship, but she wouldn’t mind a friend with benefits. Only what happens if her new neighbor turns into something so much more?
Kaine is consumed with grief for all that he has lost. He has let it eat away at him and not dealt with it, until he meets his annoying, captivating new neighbor Piper. Piper makes him feel things he thought he would never feel again. But they say to move on you must let go of the past. What will happen when his past and his present collide?
Dear lord did Tragic make me tear up. My heart hurt for both Kaine and Piper for completely different reasons, but throughout the story I kept whispering under my breath for them to get together. They understand each other in a way only two broken people can. Perry gives us a story full of tragedy but in the end gives us a story of hope. I love the way Perry crafts a story and cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next.
