BLURB:
This college jock is a total player. He’s used to getting who and what he wants. Until her...
Katrina
The hottest guy on campus won’t stop asking me out. I know that sounds like a good problem to have, but this guy… this guy has no idea how complicated my life is trying to juggle being a single mom and college student.

Every Thursday, he shows up at the café where I work. His cheesy pickup lines and arrogance should have me completely annoyed. I’m not. I can’t say yes, but Thursday is my favorite day of the week.
Joel
The hottest girl on campus won’t go out with me. I know, I know, that sounds presumptuous, but this girl… this girl has gotten under my skin, and I can’t seem to walk away.

Every Thursday, I show up at the café where she works. She’s fed me every excuse in the book. I should give up and bang one of the many girls blowing up my phone. I’m not. Even when she says no, Thursday is my favorite day of the week.
About Rebecca
Rebecca Jenshak is a self-proclaimed margarita addict, college basketball fanatic, and lover of the Hallmark channel. A Midwest native transplanted to the desert, she likes being outdoors (drinking on patios) and singing (in the shower) when she isn’t writing books about hot guys and the girls who love them.

Our Review
All the feels! The Fadeaway is book two in the Smart Jocks series. I wasn't sure if the author could top book one, but she did. This book gave me all the feels.

The plot of this book is different from book one. Two college students leading very different lives. One is just trying to survive and make ends meet while bettering her life. The other seemingly has it all, but there is more than meets the eye. Can they find something in each other that they have been missing?

Katrina is a G. For real, she handles her business. She is such a strong character. I really loved everything about her. Then you have Joel. He seems like he has everything. He is a confident jock what else can you say? Joel is way more that just his athlete facade.

The heat between these two is great. I loved their chemistry. Their dynamic was perfect for what their characters represent. I really enjoyed it.

The writing style of this book is good. The pace of the story is steady. I really loved how the author wrote each character. She made me root from them from the very beginning.

In conclusion, this story was great. The characters were brilliant. I cannot wait to get my hands on more from this author.
