OUR REVIEWS:

Johnaka's Review:

“I promise, 5 stars”

Gray is in love with his best friend’s little sister and his best friend has no idea. Gray and Drew are like two magnets that keep drawing closer and closer. He tries to do right by her and keep his distance but sometimes its just not an option. When he has to leave to go to war, he makes Drew a promise, the only question is will he keep it?

Drew has been in love with Gray since she was a little girl. Everyone around them knew it but they could never speak of it. Drew never cared that she came from money and Gray came from nothing. As long as she has him, she has everything she needs. Only when she needs him most he’s not there. Will she be able to forgive him?

Make you Mine hurt my heart. Gray and Drew do not have an easy road ahead of them. I loved the small twists and turns Louise tossed into the story to keep us interested. I adored Ruby who is Drew’s best friend and many of the other town people who played apart in Make you Mine. All I can say is March cannot come soon enough for Ruby and Remi’s story.

Louise's Review:

Make you Mine is all about 2nd chances and that is exactly what Gray and Drew need, after sneaking around their teenage years Gray with Drews older brother headed off to college and then enlisted leaving Drew behind. When war takes its toll, Gray is left with nothing but very real memories haunting him and Drew wondering why Gray has never come back for her. When Gray arrives back everyone wants to welcome back the War Hero, Drew soon realises that she will never be over Gray and will do everything she can to make sure he never leaves her again.

Gray is fighting his own demons, wracked with guilt and PTSD he doesn’t want to hurt the one person he loves more than anyone. Drew is smart and independent, she has a fierce and feisty side that comes out when threatened, she is determined and goes after what she wants.

Gray and Drew have intense sexual chemistry, from the moment they were in each other’s space they are magnets drawn to each other exploding on impact. Their chemistry will burn the pages.

I personally enjoyed this book, while it took me a little while to get into the story with both past and present POV’s once the story stayed in the present, I couldn’t put it down. This is my first story by Tia Louise and I cannot wait to read Ruby and Remi’s story, Make me Mine.
