Johnaka's Review

“Can Brindle be tamed? 4 stars”

Brindle and Trace have been playing this on again off again game for over a decade. Brindle decided to take a trip to Paris to find herself and really figure out her feelings for Trace. Is she really in love with him or is it a toxic relationship that she needs to break for good? But when she gets to Paris, she gets the shock of a life.

Trace loves Brindle. Always has always will. But he has a way of putting his foot in his mouth when it comes to her. When she comes home from Paris, he’s ready to make it work, to finally tell her they are changing the game. Instead Brindle changes it first. Will Trace be able to step up and get the girl? Or will he stick his foot in his mouth for the final time?

I enjoyed Brindle and Trace’s story. They legitimately grew up in Wild, Crazy Hearts. But I think my favorite part of the whole book was the part where they didn’t try to chance each other. They just wanted to do right for one another. Add in their crazy families and I was sold. I cannot wait to see where Foster takes the rest of the series.
