“Moving on, 5 stars”
I would like to start off with telling you that I did not read Ten Hours before What Comes After and yet this story moved me. I’m honestly glad I read it how I did because I never knew who Abel was before his heartache. What Comes After is all about moving on after loss. Can you pick up the pieces? Will you love again? Is every love the same or can it be different? So many questions.
Peyton understands loss even though hers was different than Abels. There was no denying that she wanted him but could she be what he needs? Can she handle being his second great love or would she rather be someone’s first? One thing is for sure though, she cannot stay away.
These two had killer chemistry and had a invisible string pulling them together. They couldn’t stay away no matter how hard they tried to convince themselves. Then you have the support system. Claire made sure to keep Abel grounded and Henna reminded Peyton to keep an open mind. I think if you take a chance on What Comes After you will be happy.
