#1 The Reluctant Princess – Release Date: April 25, 2019

She wants to work on a pit crew—not be a princess.

Mechanic Isabel “Izzy” Poussard’s life revolves around cars. Determined to be a member of a racing team’s pit crew, she’ll do whatever it takes to make her dream come true. The last thing she expects is for a gorgeous guy to step out of a limousine and tell her she’s a long-lost princess…and his wife.

Crown Prince Nikola “Niko” Kresimir of Vernonia wants one thing from Isabel—an annulment. The pretty American wearing grease-stained coveralls is too rough around the edges to be the future queen. Their marriage, the result of an archaic custom neither knew about, needs to end so he can modernize his country.

As sparks fly, Niko and Izzy fight their growing attraction for each other. Neither wants to remain in an arranged marriage, but that might be the only way to keep peace in the kingdom. Is a love match possible where all their dreams can come true? Or will aspirations and pride keep them from living happily ever after?

Our Review:

A great book! The Reluctant Princess is a story about going from rags to riches. This is not your everyday Cinderella story though. Instead of a hopeful girl wanting to be a princess, you  have a girl who would rather be anything but. That is what makes this book a unique read.

I liked the plot and characters in this book. They were written well and made me feel invested in the series. I really loved how I was able to relate to Izzy. She is what I would imagine myself to be if I was put in a similar situation. Well, maybe without the grease.

The one part about this book I felt could have been better was that sometimes the dialogue felt a little stiff. I didn't mind it too much since it is a royalty book, but at times, it did distract me.

Overall, I enjoyed this story and would read again!

Our Review:

What a unique story! The Not-So-Perfect Princess was so different than other books. I really enjoyed the fresh plot and dynamic characters. This book was even better than the first. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Julianna is prim and proper, just as her father demands of her. The only problem is she has a wild side that she cannot seem to let go. Will an arranged marriage to a foreign prince tame her wild spirit? I really loved Julianna. Her wild spirit spoke to something inside of me. I really liked the sailing aspect of this book as well. I do not know as much about it, but I felt like I did by the time I got to the end of this book.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book and cannot wait for the next one.

Despite their royal union being a political necessity, he wants his marriage with the captivating Madeleine to be a love match. He’s willing to do whatever it takes to woo her. Our Review:

What a touching story. I will be honest. I was not so sure about The Proper Princess. I did not really like Enrique in the last book so I was still a little stuck on not liking him so much. Thankfully, this book changed my mind. I really enjoyed how the author was able to take his character and make him lovable.

This story has a lot of emotions in it. With a backstory like Madeleine's, I would expect no less. I really enjoyed every interaction and the plot overall. I especially liked reading from Madeleine's point of view. She was a great character to get inside.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I liked the emotion and character development in this book. This series has been amazing so far and I cannot wait to see what this author comes up with next.
