Johnaka's Review
“Who will she choose? 4 stars”
I have been waiting for Savannah’s story since the beginning of the Record Series. We have watched her grow up and struggle with who and what she wants in life. Well, now Savannah knows what and who she wants. Who do you think it will be? I loved Broken Record, I thought Linde nailed Savannah’s story. I loved seeing the other Maxwell siblings and the parts they played in her story.
Savannah and Lucas used to be best friends. Then one summer it all changed. But with that change came a lot of miscommunication. They were kids who didn’t know how to express themselves when they needed it. But Savannah has moved on with Easton. He’s everything she should want. The question is can she let go of her best friend enough to give Easton a proper chance? Or will her best friend be the one to win her over?
I will be completely honest; I didn’t care for Savannah for a decent chunk of Broken Record. I wanted to strangle her. She had two amazing guys right in front of her and kind of strung them along. I was cheering for Lucas. He didn’t care who she was or who she was related to, he got it. Easton just fit into her world. In the end I was happy for everyone involved and I hope you are too.
