Wait for me is a standalone 2nd chance romance, while this is a standalone we have previously met Taron in Boss of Me.
With a few weeks to kill Taron decides to head to his friends Orchard to help with the harvest, what he never expected to find was the one woman who could turn his world upside down. When events lead Taron down a different path, he is left with scars that run deeper than the surface, Noel is just holding it together she has to adjust to her new life.
I really enjoyed this story, Taron and Noel have such amazing chemistry; while they were not perfect by any means they created a life for themselves that was.
I cannot wait to read more from Tia in the future.

I love a good second chance romance, especially if the hero is broken. I love a good best friends sibling romance. So, the fact that Wait for Me is both of those and I know and trust Louise’s writing I knew I was in for a good time. I devoured Wait for Me. I set aside my adulting needs and just read until I was done and I have zero regrets about it.
Taron didn’t know what to expect when he visited his buddies farm before they both set to deploy. He didn’t expect to fall in love so fast. Then deployment happened and he saw and did things that changed him into a man who didn’t feel worthy. After the worst possible break up ever will he be able to convince Noel to give him a second chance?
Noel watched love break her father when her mother died. She’s seen the good and the bad. She fell in love and never thought Taron would hurt her but it almost killed her. When he shows back up will she be able to keep him at arm’s length? Or will she put her heart on the line once again? What about the secret she’s been keeping.. Only one way to find out.
