REVIEW - Fake Fiancée - Ilsa Madden-Mills

TITLE - Fake Fiancée
AUTHOR - Ilsa Madden-Mills

Blurb:

A new standalone romance from Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author Ilsa Madden-Mills...

They say nothing compares to your first kiss,
But our first kiss was orchestrated for an audience.
Our second kiss…that one was REAL.
He cradled my face like he was terrified he’d f*ck it up.
He stared into my eyes until the air buzzed.
Soft and slow, full of sighs and little laughs,
He inhaled me like I was the finest Belgian chocolate,
And he'd never get another piece.
A nip of his teeth, his hand at my waist...
And I was lost.
I forgot he was paying me to be his fake fiancée.
I forgot we weren’t REAL.
Our kiss was pure magic, and before you laugh and say those kinds of kisses don’t exist…
Then you’ve never touched lips with Max Kent, the hottest quarterback in college history.

Get ready for breathtaking kisses, dreamy football players, a heroine who yearns for the guy she can't have, and a hero who will do anything for the girl he loves...

Review:

“All the feels, 5 stars”

Sometimes one will get a feeling as if they know another person. Sometimes that feeling will lead us down a path we never expected. To me that's what happened in Fake Fiancée. Max didn't know Sunny but he knew he could trust her. She knew Max though. When secrets come out will it be good or will it break the fragile ground they are on?

Sunny is livid when she steps onto her neighbors porch, that is until she sees her neighbor is none other than Max. What goes from trying to make an enemy, Sunny somehow ends up making an alliance. See both Sunny and Max are in the same class, a class where their ex's will be. Why not fake date? Both parties get what they want out of the deal..or do they?

Max doesn’t really trust anyone minutes after meeting Sunny though he knows she's a good one. The one football goal he’s after is on the line and he needs someone to make him look good. What starts off as a deal between Sunny and Max soon turns into something real. Only question is will they make it after the season ends?

I know this review isn’t doing the book any justice. There is no way to describe the story yet not give it away, and where's the fun in that? Fake Fiancée is full of twists, turns, and witty banter. Max and Sunny are opposites but man do they work. The secondary characters are awesome and I hope two of them get their own story. Sunny’s Grandma is hilarious. Then of course you have the villain, but my favorite part is when Max realizes he's known Sunny for longer than he realized.
Just buy and read the book. You wont disappointed.

Here are a couple quotes I liked from Fake Fiancée;

“staring at me like he was terrified he was going to fuck it up. He gazed into my eyes until the very air buzzed. Soft and slow, he pressed his lips to mine, inhaling me as if I was the finest Belgian chocolate he’d ever tasted and he’d never get another piece.”

“Sometimes there really is a bigger plan. Sometimes there really is that one person. Sometimes true love finds you no matter what.”
