REVIEW - Sex Says - Max Monroe

TITLE: Sex Says
AUTHOR: Max Monroe

Blurb:

Lola

My name is Lola Sexton, and I’m a sex addict.
Okay…that’s a lie.
Truth is, I’m a serial dater turned dating and relationship columnist for the San Francisco Times. My readers call me Sex. Sex Says.
I love my job.
I love my life.
And I hate Reed Luca.

Reed

My name is Reed Luca, and I’m a liar.
Ironically, that’s the truth.
I’m 31, and my occupation is…well, complicated.
My favorite kind of woman comes in all shapes and sizes, but always has a big brain.
I’ve never hated anything.
Lola Sexton hates me.
Luckily, it’s a thin line between love and hate, and with my help, pretty Lola will only be able to straddle that line for so long.

Our Review:

Sex Says is another awesome novel written by Max Monroe. I expected more of the same kind of writing found in the Billionaire series, but was surprised to find many differences. There is plenty of humor but there is also a sweet and unique aspect to this book. I loved the originality to it.

The plot to this boom pulled me in from the beginning. Two very unique and opinionated people who by chance cross paths. This leads to some very entertaining scenes. I also love the underlying message in this book. I feel it really spoke to me. I feel this book took on a bit more of a series tone than others they have written.

The characters in this book are written beautifully. They both have such strong personalities. Lola is my hero. I love how quirky she is. I also love how she gives as well as she takes. She is such a strong character. Then you have Reed. He is such a unique character that I can't even describe him. Just know that I loved him and you will too!

There is plenty of sparks in this book. Have you ever wondered what happens when two very passionate and opinionated people get put in the same room? You find out in this book and it is explosive. The heat and chemistry between characters is tangible. This is just one of the many reasons to read this book.

I have always enjoyed Max Monroe's writing style, but I think they went above and beyond on this one. They took their normal inappropriateness and humor and added an underlying serious topic and BOOM! They have the perfect bestseller. It helps to have such amazing main characters as well. These two authors really know what they are doing.

Overall, this is another one hit right out of the park. Max Monroe never ceases to amaze me. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better, the go and write this. Kudos to you. Can't wait to read the next crazy idea that comes from your brilliant minds.
