TITLE - Martinis & Moonlight
(A Country Road Novel #3)

AUTHOR - Andrea Johnston

BLURB:

Minnesota “Minnie” Walker has worked hard for the life she has – a close knit family, successful career, and long-term relationship. When a tragedy strikes, Minnie sacrifices everything to be there for her family. Never expecting a move to the small town of Lexington would change the course of her future, Minnie finds herself wondering if what she always thought was perfect is really what’s best for her … and her heart.

Owen Butler has lived in the town of Lexington his entire life. After years of feeling second best and wasting his time vying for the attention of his father, Owen has settled into an uncomplicated life. Not one to believe in happily ever after, he never expected the new woman in town to have him questioning everything he thought he wanted in life.

Together, under the rays of the moonlight, Owen and Minnie find themselves wondering what the future holds and if facing it together is worth the risk.

**Martinis & Moonlight is the third book in the Country Road Series but may be read a standalone**

REVIEW:

"Accidental relationship, 5 stars"

Minnesota (Minnie) just got out of a long term relationship. She firmly thinks she doesn't need a man. All she wants to do is take care of her nieces while her sister is away and settle into the new life she found for them. She finds she loves her job which is way more low key then what she was doing, making legitimate friends, and life is good. Except for one small hiccup, Owen. He's everything she has never gone for in a man, yet she can't help but be drawn to him. Maybe he's the perfect fling.

Owen has never had a relationship with a woman longer than six weeks. He is the perfect description of a guy with commitment issues. Owen is a love em and leave em type, but he always makes sure he loves them good before he gets his fix. When he first meets Minnie he is instantly attracted to her and can't help but flirt with her. When the woman that his late night fantasies revolve around offers herself up on a silver platter how can he say no?

Owen and Minnie soon realize that they aren't all about sex. Somewhere along the lines feelings were developed and friendship was formed. Will the bachelor finally settle down or will he miss out on the chance of forever?

These two are spicy. I loved the dialog with these guys. The chemistry was off the charts, can you say hello sexual tension? Plus if you've followed the series you get a little bit of the other characters we have grown to know. If not don't worry, you don't need to read the other two books before this one.
