REVIEW - Command (Storm MC #7) By Nina Levine

Title - Command

Author - Nina Levine

Synopsis

Betrayal. Destruction. Loss.

The Storm MC is a club in crisis and their new President, Scott Cole, has declared war on their enemy. As Scott takes command, the MC is thrust into the biggest battle in their history – a battle to not only save the club, but the lives of its members.

Harlow James stands behind her man as he takes charge. She’s determined to prove she can be the woman he needs. However, somewhere along the way, she’s lost a piece of herself, and she fights to be strong for him when she feels anything but strong.

As the club descends into chaos, Scott and Harlow are pulled in opposite directions while they try to protect everything that is important to them. Their relationship is tested in ways it never has been, but they cling to the faith they have in each other.

Is faith enough to get you through when all appears to be lost? For Scott and Harlow, it may be the only thing that, in the end, will save them and the club.

My Thoughts

The Storm boys are back, but the MC is in turmoil, men have left and men have lost lives. Some for the greater good, some not so good. Scott Cole is the gaffer now and it falls at his feet to solve their problems and get the club back on track. However the club isn't the only thing that been under pressure. Scott's relationship with Harlow is too.

We met this couple in Fierce (Book 2), I fell in love with them straightaway, but it's not been easy for them. over the past few books we've seen glimpses of them struggling to overcome Harlow's miscarriage. And now we got to see the struggle first hand. They're both strong people, battling in their own ways, but they're also both people who keep their cards close to their chest, so communicating their feelings hasn't been a strong suit.

"You need to get the f*** over the guilt, reposition your lady balls, and move the f*** on"

Even with everything going on, Scott forces Harlow to listen and in turn, she speak and they start building bridges. Its beautiful to read them like this. They're still the super hot couple who have super hot sex, but there both vulnerable people who need each other and love each other in a way that's uncomplicated and sweet.

"It's good to have my woman back"

On the road to being happy again, things are looking up for the couple, but not for the club. There is deceit at every turn and poor Scott doesn't know who outside his own clubhouse he can trust. Everyone seems to be lying to him, including other chapters, every day brings a new obstacle. (One such obstacle being Scarlett, the mouthy madam who has no brain to mouth filter). Battles are fought and wars are won, but its really not clear till near the end just who is on the winning side.

"He held him so that his neck was exposed and I sucked in a breath when he place the knife against his skin. Running the blade across his neck he drew a small about of blood ' Did I ever tell you how much I love the sight of blood? Other people blood. That shit turns me on.' He pressed harder"

Feisty, dramatic, sexy, sweary, aggressive and just plain awesome. This felt like the end of an era. We get update on all the storm characters we love (Including my girl Roxie. Woo) as well as a glimpse into the future of Storm MC. Can you say #Kingoftheroad
