for as long as he could, but just as his arms were about to reach their limit,
gravity took over once again and yanked her away completely.

OUR REVIEW:
Holy Mind Blown! While I Was Away really took my breath away. It is not like anything I have ever read before and left me wishing I could read it again as a brand new reader. There are twists and turns throughout this book. If you want something that is unique, then give this book a shot. I legit cannot relate it to any other book I have ever read.
The plot of this book is unique on its own. What happens when you fall in love in your dreams? Can you find the real thing in the real world? These questions were raised in the blurb and it drew me right in. Then I started the book and WOW! I didn’t have expectations, but this book still blew them. I really don’t want to say much else for fear of giving away the best parts!
Adele is such a great character. She is strong and kind. Then the unthinkable happens. She is in a terrible accident that puts her in a coma. Only she doesn’t know she is in a coma. She ends up in this fantasy world and meets someone else lost in this world or so she thinks. Seriously all the characters in this book are amazing. I really have nothing negative to say about them.
The heat in this book is there, but in a different way. This book is more of an innocent, slow burning, feelings growing type of book. With everything that happened in the book, this felt right for this story. I will say if you have read Stylo’s other books and are expecting similar heat, then this might not be the book for you. While I loved it, others might be expecting more.
The writing style of this book is breathtaking. The pace of the story is steady. The story is told mostly from one point of view, but does show other points of views as well. I really liked how the author took this coma situation and explored how it effects all the different characters throughout the book. She didn’t just focus on the main characters. She also showed how it effected the family and friends of the victim. The whole subject matter was unique and amazingly written.
Overall, this book is amazing. I cannot sing its praises enough. I would 100% recommend this book to others. While it seems a bit out there, stick with it. The entire story is amazing, but I know the subject matter could be a little out there if you are not familiar with a fantasy world.
