Another amazing story. Just Neighbours is another novel in the Blue Beech series. This story was much anticipated as it was about Kyle, who we have known and loved from previous books. I guess I should say that this is a standalone story that can be read alone, but I highly suggest you read the others. While you can read it alone, the characters from the others are featured in this book while Kyle is also featured in other books.
I really liked the idea of this story. Hot cop? Check. Also the neighbour? Check. Add in some past indiscretions and secrets? Well sign me up. This story is so much more than just a romance story. This story is also a bit of a mystery added in with some messed up stuffed that will anger you. Seriously, be prepared to cry.
Chloe is such a great character. She is so giving and caring. Seriously, she is the last person in the world that I could see someone being mean to. She just really has a heart of gold. Then you have Kyle. He is cocky, but he also has a soft heart. I won’t lie and say I loved him throughout this book, but I did learn to love him. He is the perfect redemption story.
Oh the heat. These two characters have a long history. That means their chemistry is off the hook. I mean the whole premise of the story is enemies to lovers so I would expect nothing less. This author did an amazing job building their relationship to a point where it combusts.
The writing style of this story is great. The pace of the story is steady. The story is told from a dual point of view. I really liked how the author tackled more than one tough topic. The minor characters were such a treat.
In conclusion, this story is amazing. This book made me cry. Be prepared that there are possible triggers in this book. With that being said, I loved it. I would recommend this book and entire series to others.

Just Neighbors is the 4th book in the standalone Blue Beech series; having met Kyle in the previous books I was very excited to get my hands on the hot cop’s book.
Kyle and Chloe have high school history, being humiliated all those years ago she has never forgiven him; having him as her new neighbor is a daily struggle as she ducks and runs for the cover of her car most of days because the shirtless Greek god is on his porch with coffee in hand. Chloe is an amazing Aunty that will do anything for her niece and nephew; when her sister fails her once again, she is left heartbroken and not sure she can ever put the pieces of life back together.
I have to warn you that you will need to have tissues ready and be available to read this book in one sitting. Chloe is such a strong female lead throughout this book I fell in love with her from the beginning. Kyle is a confident but sweet alpha male that makes you laugh and cry. The sexual chemistry is crazy hot between these two; making you wish that you had a hot cop as your neighbour.
I personally loved this story, while I felt like my emotions were on a roller coaster, there was so many twists and turns throughout this book I could not put it down devouring it in 1 sitting. While this series is a standalone collection the same characters appear throughout; If you have not read the previous books, I highly recommend that you do. I cannot wait to read more from Ferrell.
