There was just something about him that made me wonder. So when it finally landed on my kindle, I was stoked. Savage upped the gritty with this one. Doc and Joanna are both very complicated people who are perfect for each other, and I was here for it. Doc has his secrets and secrets they will stay. But Joanna makes him want things he never thought he would have. She deserves so much more than him, but sometimes you say screw it and go for the girl. Joanna is broken, but Doc makes her want to be better. When hit with the shock of her life he’s the one she wants on her side. Together it feels like they take hit after hit. The question is, will they make it out on the other side? Warning: Doc contains triggers for some people. I don’t have limits, but I know for some this book would be too much.
