Release + Review - Triplets Rise - K.L Savage

Daddy's little girl is all grown up.
Things are about to change around here.
If there is one thing I won't allow, it's having my dad's MC run into the ground.
Everyone expects my brothers to take charge, but what no one knows…
I'm the one who runs this club.
A woman.
And according to men, a woman's place is in bed—not at the head of the table.
Newsflash: I'm not only going to be at the head of the table, but I'm putting the word out.
Women can join.
Men can join.
Everyone can join and be accepted.
My brothers? We’re triplets, and they support me and have my back.
They know I'm meant for more than what society has mapped out for women.
My dad made enemies along the way, but that will be nothing compared to what I’m going to face leading this club.
Nothing comes for free—you have to fight for your freedom, for your ideas, and this Queen is ready to conquer the world...

Johnaka's Review
“Flip the script, 4 stars”

Triplets Rise kicks off a new Series for K.L. Savage and if this one is anything to go by, we are in for a ride. Usually in MC books, the leader is a man and women are seen as just the counterpart. The old ladies who stay out of the way and let the men handle the tough stuff. But with this one, the leader is a female, and she’s coming out swinging.
I enjoyed that this one. I enjoyed seeing Eden’s brothers perspectives. Eden is headstrong and is willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants.
This one is going to be fun to watch unfold.

AUTHOR BIO

K.L. Savage decided they were tired of looking for the kind of books they wanted to read. They had an itch that needed to be scratched, and as every girl knows, nothing scratches better than an alpha.

They write about gritty, alpha males, sometimes their dark sides, and the women they love.
If you have the same itch, their alpha males should fix that.

Release + Review - Puck Shy - Teagan Hunter

Puck Shy by Teagan Hunter is now live!

I'm having the definition of a bad year.

Game Six loss costing my team the Cup? Check.
Getting arrested and ruining my image? Check.
Almost getting run over after my car breaks down? Oh, look--a hat trick.

My contract is up with the Carolina Comets this year, and I need to get it together if I want to stay with the team.

I need relaxation, not a relationship.

But when I'm scrolling on a dating app and stumble across the pretty girl who almost ran me over, I know I can't let her walk away this time.

Harper is funny, smart, and doesn't care about hockey.

I'm not supposed to be focusing on anything other than my career, yet I can't get Harper off my mind.

I know I shouldn't fall for her...but I think I already have.

Jenn's Review

Hit me baby one more time ;) Wow, Teagan has done it yet again. Puck Shy a sports romance that has the quirkiness and humor that Teagan always brings. This being her first sport centered series, I was curious to see how she was going to keep her normal tone, but she did so amazingly. What I think I loved most is the nods to her other series with the Easter eggs.

Seriously, the plot of this book was great. It threw in a couple different tropes in a mashup of amazingness. Let me tell you, Harper is a freaking unicorn! I loved how unique she is. What I think I loved most about her is her willingness to be exactly who she is without apologies. This is something I identify with myself, so I appreciated finally having a character that I feel reflects myself. Collin was great as well, but I won't lie. He had some groveling to do for me to really warm up to him.

Honestly, the chemistry between these two jumped from the pages, enticing you to keep reading until you've devoured the whole book. There were sweet times, corny times, and also some emotional times, but overall, it was totally worth it. let me just say that I am dying for the next book. I really hope its who I think it's going to be about, but honestly, even if it's not, I cannot get enough of these hockey players.

Release + Review - Indigo Ridge - Devney Perry

 INDIGO RIDGE

The Edens #1
By Devney Perry

Winslow Covington believes in life, liberty and the letter of the law. As Quincy, Montana’s new chief of police, she’s determined to prove herself to the community and show them she didn’t earn her position because her grandfather is the mayor.

According to her pops, all she has to do is earn favor with the Edens. But winning over the town’s founding family might have been easier if not for her one-night stand with their oldest son. In her defense, it was her first night in town and she didn’t realize that the rugged and charming man who wooed her into bed was Quincy royalty.

Sleeping with Griffin Eden was a huge mistake, one she’s trying to forget. He’s insufferable, arrogant and keeps reminding everyone that she’s an outsider. Winslow does her best to avoid Griffin, but when a woman is found dead on Eden property, the two of them have no choice but to cross paths.

As clues to the murderer lead to one of Quincy’s own, Griffin realizes Winslow is more than he gave her credit for. Beautiful and intelligent, she proves hard to resist. For him. And the killer.

Johnaka's Review
“New smalltown series, 5 stars”

There are so many things I loved about Indigo Ridge, I don’t know where to start. I loved that our heroine was the chief of police. I loved how our hero wanted nothing to do with a relationship and the L word, but he couldn’t stay away. I loved the mystery weaved throughout the story. Overall, it just did it for me. I cannot wait to see where Perry takes the series.
Winslow has just moved to the town she used to spend time in as a child. It’s the fresh start she needs, and she looks forward to spending time with her grandfather. Winslow doesn’t want anything to do with a man, considering she just got out of a less than desirable long-term relationship. So when she meets the handsome stranger at the bar, she thought he was from out of town. Only he’s not only a local but from one of the most prominent families, and he wants nothing to do with her.
Griffin thought she was from out of town. He had never met her, but he had heard a lot about her. To say he was less than impressed when he realized who she was is an understatement. When Winslow starts digging into things she shouldn’t mess with, he can’t help but try to steer her away. What he didn’t expect was for her to be right all along or to start falling for her along the way.
Can he pull it together before the killer sets their sights on Winslow?
Only one way to find out.

The truth is meant to set you free… but not my truth.

Mine has sent me deeper and darker, feeding my need for revenge. I want blood for those who wronged me and my family. And my so-called truth is ripping me apart, in a way lies never could.

Everyone else has moved on, but I can’t. Not until someone pays.

And it seems that fate is on my side this time, because the hellion girl from the graveyard is going to be my saving grace… and provide me with everything I crave.

The pain.

The vengeance.

The blood.

She has no idea what she’s been dragged into, but she’s going to regret every step she’s taken to get here.

Louise's Review

Oh my gosh!

Wicked Knight is book 1 in the new Knight’s Ridge Empire, Tracy has done it again and smashed it out of the park.

Stella thought she knew everything but moving has exposed her to secrets she never thought existed. Stella and Sebastian’s chemistry is off the charts from the very beginning and if you have read the prequel, Wicked Summer Knight you know how hot these 2 are together.

Enemies or not there is no denying these 2.

I personally loved this story, I knew Stella was going to be a badass lead! I cannot believe the cliff hanger that Tracy left me on, I am desperate to get my hands on books on book 2, Wicked Princess.

Johnaka's Review
“Best friends to lovers, 5 stars” At the beginning of this story, Cooper is going through a divorce. His best friend/manager, Erika, was by his side through it all. She is his rock. I loved the relationship between these two. They flawlessly went from business associates, to friends, to lovers. Don’t forget a jealous ex who saw the writing on the wall between them before they did. Let me make myself clear. Nothing happened between these two until after he was married. I loved catching up with Cooper's family. Seeing his aunts, uncles, cousins, parents just added that bit of a boost for me. I love a good binge read. Add in that epilogue and, well, my kindle is waiting for the next in the series. If you love sports romances with a heavy family influence, look no further. Madison has you covered.
