“Kick off for a spinoff, 4 stars”

Thrasher is from a different club and he decided to drop by and pay his old friend Reaper a visit. Reaper owes him and he’s ready to cash it in. What he didn’t expect was to meet Delilah, Reapers sister. From the moment he saw her, he wanted her. Only thing is, Reaper wants nothing to do with it. Will he get the girl or not? Only one way to find out.

Okay, so I enjoyed Thrasher. Savage made the spin off hook perfect. I’m interested in this new club and all that they do. The only reason it’s getting 4 instead of 5 stars is because 1, it was short. I felt like I blinked and it was over. And 2, because she left us with some unanswered questions. Which I get because it will make readers come back to see what’s actually going on. I’m just impatient. With that all said, I will continue reading to see what she has up her sleeve next.

“Love on the farm, 5 stars” 

Bet the Farm was a fun, light hearted, dairy farm romance. Look I know it may sound a little weird but it was so good. I loved so many things about it. Like how dedicated Jake was to the farm, how Olivia got to leave and come back, how she wanted to stay once she did. I love a good second chance romance and Bet the Farm definitely had some of those vibes.

It’s been a hot minute since we’ve gotten anything new from Hart, but let it be known she came out swinging. Do yourself a favor and read this one. I think you’ll enjoy it. Farm, mischief, and all.

Hawk is book 1 in the new ‘Men of Bird’s Eye’ series, a 2nd chance at love romance that has all the feels. 

Drew is starting over with her daughter and finding a job is top priority; when she lands one she quickly realises that her wardrobe is not suited at all. Hawk only has time for a couple of things in his life number 1 being his tattoo shop and 2 being his dog’s; when his newest employee has him changing the rules and opening his door for her he knows he is in way deep! 

I personally loved this story, Kat is a one click author for me and I cannot wait to get my hands on book 2!

“New family, same flare, 5 stars”

I was introduced to the Greene family in the Bailey family series and was instantly intrigued by them. I knew that Grandma Dori would be up to her usual shenanigans, and I was here for it. I absolutely enjoyed My Beautiful Neighbor. My heart hurt for Presley, I cheered for Cade to break down her walls. The entire time I was sucked into their story, the family dynamic and everything happening around them. To say I’m already jonsing for the next book in the series would be an understatement.

If you love a good small town/family series, look no further. Piper and Rayne have you covered.

My Beautiful Neighbor is the first book in the new Greene Family series, one that I have been hanging to get my hands on.

Cade is running the Brewery with his step brother and living each day as it comes; When a close family friend suffers a loss they all gather together. When a new face shows up in town lots of question start flying around, sparking Cade’s attention. Presley is the outside and when Ethel and Dori get involved there is no stopping what happens next.

I personally loved this story, I felt lost when The Bailey’s series finished and from the moment I started reading this story I couldn’t put it down. I cannot wait to get my hands on book 2, My Almost Ex; the snippet we got has me hooked and wondering what twists Piper and Rayne have in store for us.

Okay, I’m going to be completely transparent. I was the kid that did what I was told not to. You could not tell me I couldn’t be friends with someone without having a legitimate reason. So within the first couple of pages I was hooked on Conjugal Visits. Hook, line, and sinker.

Trouper and Beckham start out as just friends. But by the time high school graduation rolls around, they are more without being more. They know they belong together, but they both have dreams they want to fulfill before they make their way back to each other. Over time, communication might grow scarce, but they remain loyal.

When life brings them back together they grasp the opportunity with both hands and hold on tight. Even though Beckham’s father still hates Trouper. When life throws them another curve ball Beckham is loyal without fault. She will do whatever she has to, to clear his name. The question is, is she putting herself at risk by doing so?

“Second chance, 3 stars”

Scout and Daisy were childhood friends who changed the rules right before they went their separate ways. Years later, they meet back up. Scout wonders about the girl who got away, and Daisy wonders if the only guy she’s ever loved will forgive her.

I wanted to like Scout and Daisy, and in a way I did. But there were some things that just had me scratching my head. I assumed it would be a sports romance, and it wasn’t. I thought Scout was way too excited with when he came back into Daisy’s life. If you read Twist of Fate, you’ll understand what I mean by that.

Even with the things that made me scratch my head, I know it’s a solid read, and it was probably just me nitpicking. I did the accident Scout found himself in, and I loved Daisy’s job. It’s not one that you hear of often in books.

If you like second chance, friends to lovers, accidental pregnancy stories, then Twist of Fate is probably for you.

Twist of Fate is a book 2 in the ‘Taking Chances’ series.

Scout and Daisy have been friends for years and when he comes back to his home town the spark between them ignites, sharing a short amount of time together they both chase their dreams. Years go by and they come back together, wondering if fate has brought them back.

I enjoyed this story but felt that it wasn’t my favourite, I haven’t read book 1 and that might be why I didn’t connect with this story.

Rhys and Maggie gave me life. I don’t know what it is about the Falling Stars series, but I’m here for it. The chemistry between these two was undeniable. I loved Rhys and his guilt for not feeling good enough. I loved how Maggie had all the makings to be timid and hate men, but she was strong.

Beneath the Stars is a wonderful friends to lovers story with all the angst only Jackson can provide. If you want a story, that will make your heart then swoon then look no further. You won’t regret one-clicking this one. And if you’re a new reader, do yourself a favor and grab the rest of the series as well.

Mr Uptight is a standalone M/M romance by a new to me author Felice Stevens. 

Jude has been living his life for his sister, when she walks down the isle Jude’s job is done but that wont stop him being her big brother/parent. When Jude wakes the next morning after the wedding he never would imagine he would be next to Mason.  Mason is there to prove himself, he is determined to show that he isn’t the playboy and is going to take his job seriously. When the past shows up with the intention to embarrass and ruin lives all of the fears come to the surface. 

I personally enjoyed this story, Jude and Mason’s chemistry is off the charts and when they are together sparks fly.
