Release + Review - The Fling - M. Robinson
From Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling Author M. Robinson comes a new stand-alone romantic comedy.
What happens when you make a pact with your boys to stay single and never fall in love?
Well, you get the Playboy Pact.
I was the playmaker. The one with the best moves, the best
lines. I was the best at everything…
And I mean, everything.
There was no woman immune to my charm. To my looks. To my bed-hopping ways.
It was supposed to be easy. A quick, fun, mind-blowing night where she screamed out my name in ecstasy.
No feelings.
No past.
No strings attached.
I broke the rules.
I broke the pact.
I fell for her smile.
Her laugh.
Our instant connection.
Except, I never expected to fall in love.
Especially with a single mom…
Of twins.
I fell in love with Robinson and all her angst. Slowly but surely I’m starting to fall for her rom-com writing, too. The Fling made me laugh out loud. As a parent myself, I totally felt the story down to my bones. Kid's man!
Ashton made the playboy pact with his boys when he was a teenager. Then instantly he met Sage. He was drawn to her from the start, but it wasn’t there time. The brief encounter, though, left an impression on both of them. Now, years later, they meet again, only now Ashton isn’t willing to let Sage slip through his fingers. Will it all change once he learns that she’s a single mom to not one but two kids? Or will it only strengthen his feelings? Only one way to find out.

Louise's Review
The Fling is book 2 in the Playboy Pact Series; this book can be read as a standalone. This book! Wow I have 3 kids of my own and these antics were hilarious!
Ashton knew the moment he met her that Sage was special but she didn’t choose him, having never forgotten their brief meeting he was very excited to cross her path again all those years later. Sage hasn’t had it easy but she has made the best life for herself and her kids, when she thinks she is finally with the one she fails to mention a couple of things which might just break it all apart.
I personally really enjoyed this story, Robinson is a new to me author and I will be going back to read book 1 for sure!! I cannot wait to get my hands on book 3.

Release + Review - Tie Me Down - Melanie Harlow
Tie Me Down, an all-new swoon-worthy friends to lovers,
small town romance from USA Today bestselling author Melanie Harlow, is now
live!
Just friends.
That’s all Beckett Weaver and I have ever been.
Sure, he’s a hot cowboy who left Wall Street behind to take
over his family’s ranch. Yes, I’ve had a secret crush on him since we were
seventeen. And who wouldn’t appreciate those strong hands, that massive chest,
and the way he fills out a pair of Levis?
He makes a girl sweat just looking at him . . . and I look.
A lot.
But I’m a single mom trying to move on with my life, and
he’s running that ranch single-handedly while taking care of his elderly
father. We don’t even live in the same state. I only returned to my hometown of
Bellamy Creek to sell my late mother’s house, and he just invited me and my son
to stay with him because he’s got a big heart.
That’s not the only big thing he’s got--which I discover the
night I finally sneak across the hall to his bedroom and shed my inhibitions
right alongside my pajamas. And once we give into each other, we can’t stop.
The hayloft. The bed of his truck. The dock by the
pond.
Nothing has ever felt so right, but his past has taught him
not to believe in happily ever after, and every perfect night I spend in his
arms brings us closer to goodbye.
Like any cowboy, he’s good with a rope and knows exactly how
to tie me up.
But what if I want him to tie me down?
Johnaka's Review
“Finally making a move, 4 stars”
Beckett has always wanted Maddie, but she was always just out of reach. Now as adults Maddie is coming to town to wrap up her mother's estate. Beckett offers his home to Maddie and her son. What he didn’t expect was to finally get his chance with her. The question is, will he screw it up or will everything he’s ever wanted be his?
I enjoyed these two. The story was almost insta-love but at the same time it wasn’t because they had known each other for so long. I love how accepting Beckett was and how sweet Maddie was. Previous Harlow couples have their hands in the relationship, pushing them together and it was just a good story. If small town romances are your thing, look no further.

Excerpt
“Night.”
I opened my mouth to say goodnight—I swear I did.
But that’s not what came out.
“I need to tell you something,” I blurted.
He turned and faced me.
“I want to answer your question.” My heart raced, and
my fingers locked over my stomach.
“What question?”
“You asked me—last night—why I always chose jerks.”
“You said you didn’t know.”
“I lied. I do know.”
He was silent a moment. “So tell me.”
I took a step toward him. “I chose jerks because they didn’t
ask anything of me. They didn’t expect anything of me. They didn’t even want
much from me—just skin.”
Beckett took a deep breath, his chest expanding.
“That’s why I couldn’t be with you,” I whispered.
“Because you think I would have expected perfection?”
“Because you would have deserved it.”
He exhaled and shook his head. “You’re wrong.”
“I’m sorry. This is stupid.” I squeezed my eyes shut a
moment. “I don’t even know why I’m telling you this right now. It’s not like I
can go back and do things differently. I guess I just wish I would have been
brave enough to tell you the truth back then.”
“What’s the truth?”
“That I wish I could have been yours. I know you would have
been good to me.”
He said nothing for ten full seconds, during which my heart
banged painfully against my ribs and I regretted everything.
“Listen, forget I said anything,” I said quickly. “I don’t
know what Blair puts in that apple pie, but—”
“I have something to tell you too.”
I swallowed. “You do?”
“Yeah. Several things, actually.” He moved closer to me, so
close I could feel his breath on my lips. “First, I’m glad you finally answered
my question. It’s been bothering me for fifteen years. Second, you’re right. I
would have been good to you. And third, no—we can’t go back and do things
differently. The past is past.”
“Yes. Well, goodnight.” Tears of mortification burning my
eyes, I spun away from him, but he grabbed my arm.
“But there’s one more thing.”
“What?” I whispered.
“I sleep with my bedroom door open. But I want you to think
hard before you take advantage of that. Because I’m not eighteen anymore, and
I’m no longer in the mood to be a gentleman.”
Then he let go of my arm and disappeared across the
hall.
With my legs trembling, I slipped into my room, shut the
door and leaned back against it, fanning my face.
Holy. Shit.
He’d left it up to me.
But his invitation was clear. I hadn’t imagined it.
And before I thought about it too hard and blew my chance to
be with him, I raced into the bathroom, pulled my braids out, and brushed my
teeth. Back in my bedroom, I whipped off my clothes and pulled on the
pineapple-print tank and matching shorts I’d brought to sleep in. Not exactly
my sexiest lingerie, but in my defense, seduction hadn’t been on my to-do list
when I’d packed my bags.
Then I took a deep breath, opened my door, and snuck across
the hall.

Release Blast - Love in Secrets - Scarlett Cole
Master distiller, Jake Dyer, is doing everything he can to keep his family-run gin distillery in business. Working seven days a week to maintain production volumes while overseeing a complex renovation of the distillery keeps him busy. There is no room for anything else in his life, especially not Cassie Cunnigham, his childhood friend, and daughter of the owner of the construction company completing the renovation.
Cassie Cunnigham hates leaving her project management job with a New York construction firm to return to Denver after a decade away. But when Jake Dyer calls to tell her about her father’s accident, she has no choice but to go home for six weeks to run his small construction firm in his absence. With her New York boss threatening to fire her if she doesn’t return, and her father pleading with her to stay, Cassie feels as though the men in her life are taking decisions out of her hands.
All except Jake, who is no longer the gangly-teen she left behind. And it doesn’t help that Jake can’t keep his eyes, or hands, off her, either. When friendly reunions turn heated in secret, Jake and Cassie convince themselves that friends-with-benefits sounds like a whole lot of fun.
But as walls go up in the distillery and refuse to come down
from around Cassie’s heart, Jake wonders if he and the woman he’s falling in
love with will ever add up to anything more.

Meet Scarlett Cole:
The tattoo across my right hip says it all really. A Life
Less Ordinary. Inked by the amazingly talented Luke Wessman at the Wooster Street Social Club (a.k.a.
New York Ink). Why is it important? Well, it sums up my view on life. That we
should all aspire to live a life that is less boring, less predictable. Be
bold, and do something amazing. I’ve made some crazy choices. I’ve been a car
maker, a consultant, and even a senior executive at a large retailer running
strategy. Born in England, spent time in the U.S. and Japan, before ending up
in Canada where I met my own, personal hero – all six and a half feet of him.
Both of us are scorpios! Yeah, I know! Should have checked the astrological
signs earlier, but somehow it works for us. We have two amazing kids, who I
either could never part with or could easily be convinced to sell on e-bay.
I’ve wanted to be a writer for a really long time. Check
through my office cupboards or my computer and you’ll find half written stories
and character descriptions everywhere. Now I'm getting the chance to follow
that dream.

Release + Review - Broken - Elise Faber
Broken is Available Now!
-- A BRAND NEW HOCKEY SERIES from Elise Faber --
Buy on all Platforms
He was forty years old.
He was single.
He had his dream job as GM of the Baltimore Breakers hockey
franchise, and he was happy.
Lie.
Because the woman he was in love with was married.
To a perfectly nice man who loved her and cared for her and
treated her like the queen she was.
But then Lexi showed up at his house, tears in her eyes,
Caleb out of the picture, and he finally had a shot.
A real shot.
At love.
The trouble was that Luc had spent almost the entirety of
his adult life running from love. He didn’t do relationships, not any longer.
But . . . Lexi was hurt, absolutely devastated, and she
needed care and gentleness and deserved all of the romance in the world.
So he needed to man up and find a way to convince her to
give him that shot.
Louise's Review
Broken is book 1 in the new Breakers Hockey series, this is not your typical hockey series and it has all the feels.
Luc was 40 years old and the GM for the Breakers, he lost his career a long time ago and while he had a great life it was missing 1 thing… her. He was in the friendzone, she was married and living the perfect life while he was the single BFF. When Lexi turns up on his door the goal posts shift and now his forever doesn’t seem so far away.
I personally enjoyed this story, Faber has outdone herself with this Hockey story and now I cannot wait to read Oliver’s story in book 2.
