🥃SYNOPSIS:

𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀.

Things in Layla Fox’s life were going great. She had a fantastic job, amazing friends, and a killer apartment. There was just one tiny glitch in all that perfect. Her upstairs neighbor was the very definition of tall, dark, and handsome . . . and she hated the man with every cell in her body.

Jude Kingsley was the most arrogant jerk she’d ever met, making the fact that she was attracted to him more than a little inconvenient.

When the two of them are forced together by Jude’s meddling grandmother, the bitter rivalry between the two feuding neighbors suddenly turns into something very different. And a raw, intense chemistry like theirs is bound to explode if they aren’t careful.

Our Review:

“Bad impressions, 4 stars”

You know how they say first impressions are everything? Well, to say Jude and Layla got off on the wrong foot would be an understatement. That bad first impression set off a series of events where these two were at each other's throats. Then one blind date with each other makes them pause and look at the other differently. I was here for it. Also, for the record, I would love to be Jude’s grandma when I grow up, but not have horrible kids. If mine could stay awesome, that would be great.

I love Prince’s stories. She sucks me in and I don’t put the book down until the end. I love the small town vibe and the community she has built in her fictional world. If you need a series to binge, look no further. If binging isn’t your thing, then fear not, you can read Knockout as a standalone.
