I never thought of myself as dad material.

In what feels like warp speed, my bachelor for life status is in jeopardy and I’m fighting for the most important thing of all—my family.

I have been waiting for Fisher and Allie’s story since the last Greene family book. Darn you teasers in the back of the book! If you’ve been following along with this family, you know that Allie and Fisher were friends and that Fisher didn’t take it well when his grandma tried to hook Allie up with his brother and best friend. Apparently we didn’t know it, but sparks flew and lit between these two. So much so that Allie got pregnant, Fisher didn’t know, and now he does and he wants nothing more than to strip Allie naked, ravish her and keep her and the unborn baby safe. Seems legit, only Allie is stuck on the fact this isn’t how she planned her life.

Will she be able to let go of her childhood foolish dreams of how a family is supposed to start and let the man back in? Or will she let the second chance pass them by?

Like I said above, I seriously love this family. Piper and Rayne kill it as a duo and are honestly one of the few family series authors I read yet. My tastes in reading have changed, but no matter what, I always pick up what they put out and love it.

If you haven’t already, you should give them a chance.

My Unexpected Surprise is book 5 in The Greene Family series, I have loved getting to know all the characters throughout this series, Fisher and Allie might just be my favourite of the bunch (so far!!)

Fisher is the Sheriff and doesn't do relationships, he had his heart broken when he was a little boy and never wants to feel that way again. Allie knew what she was getting into when she first hooked up with Fisher and when she called and there was no answer she didn't sit around waiting for him to return her call.

I personally loved this story, this is one of my favourite tropes and it did not disappoint!!! Bring on book 6!!
