I Love a good surprise pregnancy trope and Cali has done a great job with this one!!!! Poppy & August tried hard not to catch feelings and they both did a stella job of ruining those plans! Deflected Hearts is book 2 in the Wyncote Wolves series, having not read book 1 I was worried i was going to miss something but this story can certainly be read as a stand alone; But i can tell you now that i will be going back and reading book 1 and hanging out for book 3! Dark Legacy is book 12 in the Knight's Ridge Empire and the final conclusion in Calli and Batman's story. If you have been hanging onto the edge of your seat to find out how this plays out then sit back and enjoy the show. This story gives you all the answer you seek after being left hanging. While I do love a cliff-hanger its nice to get answers quickly in the beginning of a story. I personally enjoyed this story and I couldn't put it down. This is it for me, I am not sure what can top this. This story is about fighting for what you want and never giving up, regardless of the situation you find yourself in. When you find that peace don't let go. Tracy continues to grow as a author and she is 100% a one click and will not disappoint!!! Bring on the rest of the boys and the women who whip them into shape. 5 stars for well, strange and unusual

I love a good age gap and Lani delivered. Everything about this story did it for me. Jeremiah and Grace had the perfect meet-cute. I'm totally the woman while at a gathering and reading, so when that's what Grace did I immediately felt a kinship to the girl. Jeremiah may look a little rough around the edges but he's a total teddy bear who only has eyes for Grace. Despite his crazy ex and exes son who want to make his life h-e-ll.
If you love age gaps and fun banter, look no further. Pick this one up.
