“Are they really so different? 5 stars”

Kellie is a woman who came from nothing and now has everything but the one thing she wants, love. When she first met Brian she wanted him but the feelings weren’t mutual. Now he’s back in her life to keep her safe. Is this a second chance for them? 

Brian is a complicated man. When he met Kellie he wanted her but he has a strict no dating clients policy. Will being with her for the next 90 days change things for them? Will he be blinded by her and forget to keep her safe? Only one way to find out.

I loved Kellie and Brian. They were more alike than either of them realized. All throughout the story we were in suspense on who Kellie’s stalker was but honestly the love aspect of the story was so amazing I forgot about the suspense. I usually nitpick trying to figure out who the evil person is during the whole story while reading but with Hollywood Princess for me it was like an added bonus. I loved how alpha Brian is and how sweet and humble Kellie is.

Madison killed the story itself and managed to wrap it in a pretty bow with the cover she chose. You can’t go wrong with Hollywood Princess.

Madison has followed up Hollywood Playboy with this amazing story, filled with love, suspense and drama that will have you holding your breath until the very last page. 

Kellie is a Hollywood music star, heading off on a world tour with some extra baggage; a stalker that has started to invade her private space. Cue in the hot bodyguard Brian who has held back from temptation previously, but surviving 90 days in close quarters it’s going to test all his restraint.

I loved Kellie and Brian, their slow burn only makes their interaction’s more powerful. From the beginning I had zero idea about who the stalker was and it was only towards the end that I started to connect dots and float a few names around. 

I personally really enjoyed this story; having had a small snippet of Kellie and Brian in Hollywood Playboy I knew their story would be amazing. Hollywood Princess can be read as a standalone but why would you, Hollywood Playboy is Jessica and Tyler’s story; I have marked Hollywood Prince in my diary and cannot wait!

Review:

‘ “What do you say Taylor?”. He rose above me again so that I was staring into those gorgeous greens of his. “Want to see how hot this fire burns?” ‘

Taylor is running for her grief trying to find a world where she can function and not feel that gaping hole that has been left inside her chest. Staying in Sutter Lake is the best choice for her right now, the entire Cole family lead by Walker takes her under their wing giving her the love she has been missing. 

When their small town is rocked by the death of one of their own, they are all on edge trying to piece together how this is happening. For the 2nd time in his life Walker is searching for someone who means everything to him, will he find her or be a victim himself? 

I personally loved these two characters their own grief and issues brought them closer, while I felt a little frustrated with Taylor everyone grieves differently. Cowles did not disappoint throwing a little bit of everything into this book I was left on the edge of my seat wondering if my theory was correct. 

I really enjoyed having Carter and Austin back in the mix, I loved Further to Fall and Cowles amazing writing and potting have continued with Beautifully Broken Pieces.

I look forward to more from the Sutter Lake series, all future books have been added to my, to read list.

Tonight,
Zoe wasn’t wearing the halter-neck dress. She appeared in figure-hugging jeans
and a blue cotton blouse that set off the topaz in her beautiful irises. After
declining a glass of wine, she sat next to me, shooting me a look from under
her dark lashes.

Mrs K
arrived with our starter course, a fresh vegetable salad made with cucumbers,
tomatoes and onions. She served us and returned to the kitchen.

I swirled
the wine in my glass. “I’m sorry if I was a little abrupt when we said
goodnight yesterday.”

“Abrupt?
You were more than abrupt.” Her eyes flashed. “You were downright rude.”

Love me Like you Won’t let Go is a story about love that has with held during all the highs, lows, and distance. It’s a second chance at true love. I enjoyed how Toppen wove the story. I usually avoid any sort of love triangles but Toppen did this one well and classy without any cheating, so I took it for a win.

Reese is taking the world by storm with her music and one chance encounter puts Austin in front of her. They instantly connect but between both of their travel schedules syncing up in next to impossible. Thank the lord for technology. Will they finally be able to spend some time together once life calms down?

Austin was perfectly happy with his life and his hockey game, then Reese came into his life. She kicked everything up a notch and now he can’t imagine not having even the smallest piece of her. If only they could actually see each other in person. Can he make this long-distance thing work?

Austin and Reese were adorable. They clicked and they were more than supportive of one another. Even with the book hitting most of the things I love it didn’t hold my attention for some reason. But I hope you enjoy it.
