REVIEW - Inked Memories - Carrie Ann Ryan

TITLE - Inked Memories
AUTHOR - Carrie Ann Ryan

Releases October 31st

BLURB:

The Montgomery Ink series by NYT Bestselling Author Carrie Ann Ryan continues when the final Denver Montgomery sibling refuses to fall for his brother’s former flame—the company’s new plumber.

Wes Montgomery watched his entire family fall in love, and now finds himself ready to settle down. Except the one person he seems to find chemistry with is not only his twin’s ex, she also works for Montgomery Inc. But when the two find themselves in one compromising situation after another, Wes realizes he’s having second thoughts about the dynamic woman who’s burst her way into his life. Sure she sets off his temper, but she also makes him hot in every other way possible.

Jillian Reid never loved her best friend like everyone thought she should, so she pushed him away so he could have his future. Now, despite fighting it, she finds herself attracted to the one man she shouldn’t. When her father’s health takes a turn for the worse, and a danger no one saw coming show its face, she’s forced to turn to Wes for help. The two of them have fought off their attraction long enough, and each cave to the desire. But this enemies-to-lovers tale might have an ending no one ever dreamed of.

Johnaka's Review:

“Accepting fate, 5 stars”

I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect going into Inked Memories. I liked both Jillian and Wes but I didn’t know if I would like them together. Well, Ryan proved me wrong. Not only did I fall for them as a couple but I got to play a little catch up with the rest of the Montgomery clan.

Wes is a workaholic with a need to fix everything. All his siblings are settled and happy and now he’s feeling discontent. He has a thing for Jillian but feels like she’s off limits. But what if she’s really not off limits? What will happen if he caves and finally accepts what he really wants?

Jillian isn’t afraid of hard work as long as she can have a little fun. She’s loyal to the only family she has and wouldn’t know what to do without her dad. Even though she’s more than thrilled for her best friend for getting his happily ever after she’s a little jealous she hasn’t gotten the same thing. What will happen if she finally gives Wes a chance?

These two are good once thing get going. For them banter and fighting is foreplay and its comical. But on a serious note this book holds a little mystery, loss, and a whole lot of love. Take a chance on the last Montgomery in Denver, you won’t regret it.
