Sawyer LaGrange.
He’s my best friend’s older brother.
He’s quiet, brooding, sexy as sin…
Dark hair, a scruffy square jaw, and deep lines of muscle I
trace my fingers along slowly, followed by my lips…
He always does what’s right.
Until me…
They say you get in life what you have the courage to ask
for.
Well, I’m brave.
And I want him.
Secrets.
Everybody has them.
Big, small, innocent… forbidden.
Mindy was a line I should never have crossed.
But I did.
She was beautiful… sassy and tempting,
And rules were made to be broken.
We broke them all.
Now I’m home, released from service with hidden scars.
Now my secrets are the demons that grow stronger every day.
I try to send her away, but I can’t let her go.
She’s my reason to fight, and I’ll walk through hell to be
the man she deserves.
To give her a reason to stay here with me.
(HERE WITH ME is a STAND-ALONE best friend’s older brother,
second-chance, military romance. No cheating. No cliffhangers.)
Johnaka's Review
“Finally, 5 stars”
Sawyer and Mindy have been dancing around each other much to Mindy’s dismay. She wants him, she’s always wanted him but there is something holding Sawyer back. Once they start making moves in the right direction Sawyer once again pulls away. Will Mindy learn what Sawyers hiding? Will she ever get the only guy she’s ever loved? Only one way to find out.
Sawyer wants Mindy, but he can’t have her. He doesn’t deserve her. When Sawyer says screw it and goes for the girl his past comes back with a vengeance. Will his ghosts continue to haunt him or will he learn how to put them to sleep? One thing is for sure though, if he can’t have Mindy, he doesn’t want anyone.
I loved how loyal Mindy was but at the same time knew her worth. My heart hurt for Sawyer. Honestly no one could blame him for being the way he is. Louise weaved a love story that was so pure for these two that I didn’t want it to end. And there was plenty of heat/chemistry between these two to sink a battleship. I cannot wait to see what Louise does next.

Louise's Review
Here with Me is a standalone but this isn’t the first time we have met Sawyer and Mindy, I first read about them in Wait for Me.
Sawyer and Mindy have shared a connection for their whole life, Mindy has been in love with Sawyer for as long as she can imagine. When Sawyer left to join the military that didn’t stop Mindy loving him. Sawyer is brooding and gruff, he doesn’t show his emotions and when several incidents happen he pulls away and does what is best for him. Is this the end for Sawyer and Mindy or just the beginning?
I personally enjoyed this story, at times I found Mindy to be a little bit immature in her love for Sawyer, but knowing their history I understand why she felt and acted that way. Louise continues to create amazing stories that make you not want to put them down.
