Marlowe left her toxic family behind and started over. It wasn’t easy, but even with her not having much, she’s happier than she ever was. When she met Rafe, she couldn’t help but be attracted to him. But a man isn’t on her list of priorities. When her boss sells the business though, Rafe swoops in with a job offer, and maybe a little more. Will she put herself out there and let him in? Or will she keep in at arm’s length?

Rafe has wanted Marlowe since the day he met her, but his brother told him she bats for the other team. That just can’t be with the way she looks at him. When one night she confesses she is in fact into guys, he makes his move. They might be moving fast but with a war on the horizon who knows how long they have. Will they get a happily ever after they both deserve, or are they doomed from the start?

I enjoyed these two. I liked how Rafe was playful when he could be, but also serious. Marlowe rolled with the punches and didn’t let much phase her. But her insecurities were still there. I think if you take a chance on Secrets We Keep, you will enjoy it.
