“The end of a series, 5 stars”

It hurts my heart that Dotted Lines is the end of the Runaway series. I adored this series and I have my fingers and toes crossed that Perry writes this group’s children’s stories.

Clara and her son road trip back to her past to deliver the car to the guy who made sure their group of misfits were good growing up. What no one knows is Clara has loved Karson forever. So seeing him again is bittersweet for her. The trip is meant to be short, but sometimes life has other things in mind.

Karson has thought of Clara over the years, even going as far to look her up one time. When he saw that, she looked happy he left her alone. When she shows up on his doorstep, he knows things are about to change. Were his feelings for her at one time real, or was it just circumstance? Only one way to find out.
