Hard Fall is book 1 in the new St. Louis Mavericks series, a Brenda Rothert & Kat Mizera creation.

Losing two people that mean to the world to you is heart shattering, then you find out that you are now guardian to their two children and you have to share that custody with someone you fight with constantly, that is challenge. Weston and Hadley have a hate banter style relationship, both gorgeous but Weston ruined any chance years ago when he opened his mouth. Their relationship changes from fighting with each other to fighting together to give Annalise and Benny the best future, one that their friends wanted for them.

I personally really enjoyed this story, I started reading and didn’t want to put it down. This situation is any parents’ nightmare and made me starting panicking about what would happen in life.

I cannot wait to see what happens next in the series.
