Our Review:

“Enemies to lovers, 5 stars”

Eliza is kind of reeling after losing a job she loves because she told the truth. So, she goes home for the summer where things are about to become a little more complicated. She thought maybe helping out a handsome guy would turn her luck around until she saw his name and decided he was enemy number one, or is he?

Cal is living a life that was decided for him. He loves his work but he’s a little too soft to be making some of the choices he has to. He decides to go on vacation to help clear his head but instead he meets a woman who is a complete spitfire, will he catch her?

Honestly, these two never should have worked, but once they dropped their guards they did. Once they stopped doing what they were taught to do and were just themselves they came alive. She loved him despite his money and he loved her despite her wicked tongue. But sometimes when you don’t vocalize your feelings someone else’s can get hurt. Will these two from opposite sides of the tax bracket make it work or will it fall to destruction around them?

I really enjoyed Eliza and Cal. I liked how they got to become themselves with each other. I loved how the town really embraced them and let them be. You get to catch up a little with the rest of the Sweetbriar Cove couples if you read their books, if not that’s okay. The lead in to the next story is also awesome and over all I devoured this story in no time. It’s definitely worth a one-click.

Review:

I am crying right now!!!! Not only because this is an end to an amazing series, but also because this book is so emotional. Menace is the final book of the Moonshine Taskforce Series, or at least that’s the way it seems right now. Menace follows Mason, another member of the team and also the only single member. We have met Menace in all the others books so I was super excited to read about him. This book can be read as a standalone, but I suggest you read the entire series to get the full effect. While the main plot is centered around the main characters, there is also a minor plot that has been spanning the series.

Mason is the single dad of the taskforce. We watch as his son grows up in the eyes of the rest of the taskforce and some of the issues he has had to deal with. This book is his possibility at his own happy ending. The plot of this book is entering the dating scene after being out of it for so long. So much has changed since the last time Mason dated, especially since he was in his teens then. Now, with his son turning 18, he decides to put himself back out there. Will he find true love or just a bunch of duds?

The main characters in this book are perfect. Mason is such a devoted dad. That is so attractive in a man. Your children should always come first. He also has a harder, alpha side as well. He is the perfect mix for a man. Then you have Karina. She is a little minx. She is a sweet school teacher with a wild side she hides. She has her own past she is trying to move on from. I liked watching these two go on a journey together.

The heat between these two is off the charts. From the very first chapter, these two are melting panties all over the world. I was not expecting action like that so soon. I loved how this jump started what would be a whirlwind romance. With passion this hot though, will they get burned? You will have to read to find out.

The writing style of this book is nice. It is told in dual point of view so we get to see each characters perspective. The steady is pace as well. I also love the main conflict in this book. Often times I am looking for some type of relationship issue to pop up, but in this book the conflict is different. That makes this book unique. The only complaint I have is I felt the ending was a bit rushed.

Overall, this book made me laugh, cry, and want to throw things. My heart stopped at times while other times I was reading at such a fast pace because I couldn’t wait to get more. This was the perfect ending to this series and I look forward to reading more from this author. I would recommend this series to others.

“A killer start to a new series, 5 stars”

So, I am one of those that first met Kade and Angel in The Sinners Touch, I fell in love with them then and I fell in love with them now. You don’t have to read The Sinners Touch to really get a feel for these two but I know I enjoyed it. Kade held mystery, suspense, and a whole lot of love. I cannot wait to see where the rest of the Kincaid Security and Investigation series will go.

Kade and Angel finally got their happily ever after. It took a long time to get over old hurts and accepting the present. These two are happy and in love with each other for the second time. Then one day everything kind of flips upside down.

Kade once worked for the FBI and took down bad guys. One of those bad guys still wants to mark him off the list of living. Leaving Kade to feel protective of those close to him and causing a whole lot of upheaval. At the same time Angel runs into a ghost from the past. Or what could be a ghost from the past. One of the guys from Kincaid Security decides to investigate the ghost only to find out the ghost is very much alive.

So, we have a group wanting to kill one and trying to bring someone else into the fold, will it work or will time and circumstances be against all of them at Kincaid security? I personally loved Kade’s brothers and men who worked for them. They made the story well rounded. I know once you fall into this series you’ll be begging for the next book. Happy one-clicking!

So who am I? Well, I’m the crazy girl with an imagination that never shuts up. I LOVE scary movies. My friends laugh at me when I scare myself watching them and tell me to stop watching them, but who doesn’t love to get scared? I grew up in a small town nestled in the southern mountains of West Virginia where I spent days roaming around in the woods, climbing trees, and causing general mayhem. So when you get grounded, what is there left to do? Read! My Aunt Jo gave me my first real romance novel. It was a romance titled “Lord Margrave’s Deception.” I remember it fondly. But I also learned I had a deep and abiding love of mysteries and anything paranormal. As I grew up, I started to write just that and would entertain my friends with stories featuring them as main characters.

Now, I live in small town in WV where I entertain my niece and nephew and watch the cats get teased by the birds and laugh myself silly when they swoop down and then dive back up just out of reach. The cats start yelling something fierce…lol.

I love books, I love writing books, and I love entertaining people with my silly stories.

Sam has loved Miranda for as long as he can remember. In elementary school they were thick as thieves, middle school things changed a little, but high school it all came crumbling down. That didn’t stop him from loving her and wanting what’s best for her. Even now when she facies herself in love with his brother he’s willing to set aside his happiness for his own. But what if he has a shot at making her his?

Miranda is the awkward clumsy girl that everyone loved. She gets tongue tied around her crush and is willing to give her shirt off her back to anyone, with the exception of Sam. Circumstances make these three come together. The older brother who is charming, the younger brother who runs everything but doesn’t get any credit, and the woman who cannot decide which one she actually wants. Who will she end up with?

I liked how the author brought them together and kept pushing them towards each other. But I won’t lie I really wanted to smack Miranda and maybe take her to the eye doctor. Both brothers are great in their own way, but they are completely opposite of each other. You get characters from the first book (you do not need to read the first in the series to read Love Reimagined) and I enjoyed that. You finally start to get a real feel of everyone and how they interact. I personally had problems falling into the story, but it is a solid book. So even though I’m rating it a 3 I still think one should give it a chance if a small-town romance is your thing.

Reid and Callie were seriously adorable! He’s this big growly guy who is ticked off his boss doesn’t notice all he does and hires someone from outside the company to do a job he’s more than qualified for. 

Callie? Yeah, she can do the job on paper but not in person considering she hates beer and works at a brewery. The witty back and forth banter ramps up the sexual tension and its glorious. They are like a ticking time bomb we are all waiting to go off. 

Will these two come out on the other side together or hating each other with a burning passion? Only way to find out is if you one-click.

Let me just start off by saying Parker is a new to me author. Never heard of her until I read the blurb for Every Breath You Take and wanted to know more. I am thoroughly glad that I took the chance. Parker wove a tale that drew me in and kept me engaged throughout the story.

Anthony has been lost and kind of floating for a while now. He loves his job but has nothing and no one to keep him grounded. The moment he sees Shelby that all changes. His need to make her his was strong. Anthony was the best kind of alpha, he knew when to push and when to pull back in regards to Shelby. And it wasn’t just Shelby he was instantly drawn to but Lucca.

Shelby is a fighter. Her life hasn’t been easy, but she’s working to make it better for her and her son. She has no time for a man, but for some reason she can’t stay away from Anthony. Together they are explosive, but will her past keep her from getting her happily ever after?

These two were perfect for each other. I loved Shelby’s tribe of people she had surrounding her and how they questioned Anthony before bringing him into the fold. When trouble arises they all stand for the occasion and it was beautiful. I will definitely be checking out Parker in the future.

Emmett knows from experience that being a CEO and having family don’t mix, I mean just look at his childhood. So, he’s taken to being married to his job and having his one-night stands. When a chance in counter leaves him dropping an idea even he didn’t know he was capable will he be able to go through with it? And will his thoughts on what he can and cannot have change?

Jenna wants a baby but doesn’t have one key component, a man. That’s okay though she’s a modern-day woman and can get a baby on her own. Only on her way to talk about sperm she gets stuck in an elevator and misses her appointment, that’s okay though someone else gives her an idea on how to get her family. Will her and Emmett strike a deal or will she be going to the sperm bank?

I love Ryan and her stories, they always make me laugh and give me satisfaction. With that said though I was tempted not to read Baby Daddy…because the Hero and my son have the same name and that’s kind of weird sometimes. I would probably kill my kid if he ever tried to pull what Emmett in the story did. I ended up pushing through and shortly forgot all about the matching names and fell into the story and enjoyed it. These two really were meant to be together even when they sucked at communicating. If you love Ryan you’ll love this one and if you’ve never read her it’s a good place to start.
