Andrews is a new to me author and I’m glad I took a chance on her story. I loved the title and the cover drew me in so it was an easy choice to read and the story held up once I started. I look forward to reading more of Andrews work in the future.

Jovi is the quiet shy type. She rather hang out at home than go out, but that all changes when her world is turned upside down. Jovi embarks on a journey she never saw coming and with someone she never thought she’d do it with.

River moved across the country to spend time with his sister only for her to be taken too soon. When he meets Jovi he understands why his sister loved her. Only Jovi doesn’t know who he is. Will he tell her before its too late and he betrays her or will she forgive him for hiding his identity?

These two were shattered but found love when they least expected it. This story proves that sometimes someone else knows something about you before you do.

Our Review:

“Second chances, 5 stars”

I am going to cut through all the normal review stuff I do and not give you a tease about each character and how awesome they are. Instead I’m going to rave about how much I enjoyed About Time. About Time is a story that’s kind of like a lost love connection type of story. Dunk and Ash met when they were in college but they were literally passing ships even though Dunk was Ash’s brothers best friend.

They moved on with their lives and stuff happened who reshaped them into who they are now. And now? They are both hopping that brief connection they shared was real and that maybe just maybe they can build on it now. It’s a beautiful story that is well written. I definitely recommend you one-click, I don’t think you’ll regret it.

So many things about Lead Me Home made me feel. I went through all the emotions, I was happy, my heart hurt, etc. Lead Me Home was the perfect mixture of romance and mystery. It concludes a mystery some of us have been curious about for sometime and gives us the answers we seek. At the same time, we manage to fall in love with a broken couple.

Nikki has always loved Ollie. But nothing about their relationship is healthy. She wants him but he constantly denies her. Together they are like a yo-yo, they constantly go up and down like there is no end in sight. But what happens if the end is near? Will they find their way?

Ollie loves Nikki but he’s been living in a constant state of numb since the loss of his sister. He will never give up on finding out what happened to her and in doing so he pushes those closest to him away. The one who has suffered most over his actions is Nikki. Will he ever be able to break the cycle they have been living in?

Ava has always had a thing about Barrett but she never thought she stood a chance. Now she’s on the path to success and nothing could get in the way of her and her career. Especially now that she’s moved home and she has no space of her own. Because honestly why would you want to bring a guy home when you live with your parents?

Barrett has always had a thing for Ava, but that goes against Bro Code. Something he takes very seriously. Especially where his best friend’s family are the only people who made him feel like he belongs. Besides he’s on the fast track at his law firm and is looking to make partner. When you work as many hours as he does you definitely don’t have time for a relationship. But what happens when you go home for a weekend and you find out you might have a chance?

I loved these two. There is something about Ryan’s writing that makes me laugh. She weaves a story that will leave you in stitches at times and giving you totally believable scenarios without being cliché and done all the time. And honestly, I hope Ryan writes a story about Ava’s brother. If you take a chance on Bro Code you won’t regret it.

“Another age gap, 4 stars”

Kayla has no family of her own and its left her floating for the lack of a better word. Yeah, she has her best friend Janie and her dad but no one who feels obligated to be beside her. When she meets Parker he’s everything she normally goes after only a little older. But Kayla doesn’t know if she can heal the jaded man.

Parker has hurt all those close to him without trying. Leaving him to live a life as close to solitude as he can get and still use his skills. Then he meets Kayla and something draws him to her. When he catches a glimpse of her secrets he cannot help but want to lend a hand.

Parker and Kayla were perfect together. They both got each other and their struggles. The story didn’t hold all the suspense to the extent of the first in the series did but it held its own mysteries. You get a little bit of Janie and Rafe as well. Also, I loved how Parkers dog transitioned in the story.

If you take a chance on Maybe Don’t Wanna you’ll go through lots of emotions. You won’t regret it.

“The last man standing, 4 stars”

Jason is the last solo man of Rebel Desires and he’s feeling the heat. He wants the happily ever after like his friends but it seems there is no happily ever after in sight for him. Until he stumbles upon a truck stop diner and finds a surprise waiting for him on the inside. He wasn’t expecting to meet Cassidy Rae and he sure wasn’t expecting to fall for a woman with a daughter. But here he is living the dream, making music, and finding love. Only question is will a ghost from her past put a stop to the good life?

I enjoyed All of You. It was a good what I’m assuming is an end to a series. I liked how the same people stayed present throughout the series and the band helped each other along the way. For me it was fun watching them go from a bar band to selling out stadiums. There were little things I didn’t like the name dropping of current country singers throughout the whole series that never changed.

“Through the hurt came love, 4 stars”

Bri found love in college. She had beautiful relationship with a good man. She knew the possibility of losing him was real but she never thought it would actually happen. Now it has, she was handed that folded flag and feels like her world has ended. Those around her don’t know how to help her through it but Cole is more than willing to do it.

Cole has always wanted Bri, but when he found out she wasn’t single it was a no brainer to make her a friend. But now that Josh is a gone, a man he considered a friend he can’t help but watch over Bri. He cannot stand watching her self-destruct. Will he be able to help her out of the dark hole she’s dug herself in?

I loved these two together. Everything about her relationship with Cole is different. He’s the fun one where her husband was serious. As a military spouse this book hurt my heart but I loved the outcome. Its honestly probably my favorite story from the Rebel Desires series.
