Our Review

The Matchmaker by Heather Dahlgren is a quick, short story about finding true love.   I really enjoyed reading this book.  It made me giggle and smile.   The two main characters are Amanda and Davis. These two are really great for each other. The chemistry and intimacy is insane!

Heather Dahlgren is a new to me author. I'm glad I took the chance and read this. Her writing grabs you right from the beginning. It's very descriptive and detailed! I liked how the story was based on a matchmaker and the date was on Valentine's Day.

This book has 10 chapters so it's a very quick read. I didn't want it to end as it was a really good novella.

Parts of the story I liked:

"Amanda, you don't always have to be number one. You are so busy making sure everyone else finds love that you forget about yourself."

"I feel like I've been living life, but I haven't been alive. You make me feel that way. I don't know how that's possible after just meeting you, but damn, I feel such a connection to you."

"Nothing, I've just never seen someone breathe in their pizza before."
