Bloody Heart is book 4 in the Brutal Birthright series, Dante’s story gives you a side of him you never knew.
With a 9 year jump from the past to the present you meet Simone, the one that Dante fell for but ultimately got away. The life that he thought he would live was gone and he was fulfilling his role within the family until she walked back into his life. When actions from Dante’s past start threating the people he loves he wont stop until everyone is safe.
I personally enjoyed this story, I did not see this storyline coming at all and Lark continues to draw me in sitting on the edge of my seat until the very end.

“I was looking at you, too. Not to state the obvious, but you are pinup calendar hot, Owen.”
“Is that right? Tell me more about how hot I am.” I know that look, complete with his sexy grin. That look tells me he’s picturing me naked, riding him into oblivion.
A tempting idea, really.
“Nice try. I’m not stroking your ego.”
The grin widens at my unintentional sexual innuendo.
“Don’t even say it, Owen.”
“I was just wondering if other body parts were admissible.”
I try to hold back my smile, but it’s an impossibility. “And yet, you said it.”

“I’m so sorry.”
“It’s okay.”
“It’s not.”
I nod—at least we agree on something. “It’s not, but it is you who missed out on mind blowing sex.”
His jaw slackens. “You’re joking.”
I shrug, keeping my gaze on the computer screen. “Guess you’ll never know.”
“How about I make it up to you? Twice as long, twice as good?”
“Nah. One and done. Sorry.”
His fingers tap the desk. Apparently being turned down for sex is not something he’s used to in his life. “We’ll see about that.”
I peer at him over the top of my glasses, sending him a scowl. “Check your ego, Dr. Stevens. You’re not that irresistible.”
His hand snakes across the desk, clasping mine. “No, I’m not. You are. I told you, you’re the purest heroin.”
“Could we find another analogy? I hate being compared to something that destroys lives.”
Owen chuckles, lifting my fingers to his lips. “How about this, then? You’re every dream I never knew I had. I didn’t believe in soulmates until I met you. You’re it for me, Tally.”
God, I hate him. I hate when he says things so profound and moving, and he looks so damn earnest and yet manages to smash my heart into bits on the ground. I pull my hand back, massaging the palm with my thumb. “Only one problem with that, Owen. I don’t believe you anymore.”
“Then I’ll prove it to you.”
I laugh, not because it’s funny but because it’s such a well-worn line. “Sure, you will.”
“Will you give me a chance?”
“Owen, I’ve given you nothing but chances.”

“What am I going to do with you?”
“Love me.” Owen sinks to the ground, peppering my calves with kisses. “I’ll gladly stay on my knees until you forgive me.”
I skate a finger down his nose and across his lips. “You can’t solve things with sex. Even our mind-blowing sex.”
“I’ll make you a million promises, but you have to be willing to believe them.”
“What promises do you plan to make?”
“To love you. Not just on good days, but on the really tough days. On those days when you question why you’re with me, or how we were ever a good idea. I promise to always put you first—before any job, career, friend, or family. It will always be you before anything else. I promise—”
I press my fingers against his lips, sinking onto the carpet next to him. “Those are really big promises.”
“It’s a really big love, Tally. I told you, I’ve never felt this way before. I won’t give up on you. On us.”
He’s right. It’s the biggest damn love I’ve ever known.
I move my lips over his, tracing the outline of his full mouth, and earning Owen’s grunt of approval. “Shall I take you home and have my way with you?”
“I’ve been praying for that all night.”

“I don’t want to know how many women you kissed to have a mouth that talented,” I purr, running my thumb along his lower lip.
“I had to be perfect for you.” Owen clears his throat, that low, gravelly chuckle rising up from his chest. He steps in between my legs, hiking my skirt up to very unladylike heights. Not that I’m complaining. “Enough about the type of men you won’t date. Tell me about the men you will.”
I tap my finger against my chin as I bite back a smile. “Let’s see. Well, he has to be smart.”
“Two plus two is four.”
I giggle, gliding my hands along the planes of his chest. “Genius level, sir. He also has to be kind.”
“I helped an old lady just last night.”
I guffaw, my eyes widening. “You’d better not be referring to when you picked my ass up off the ground, buddy.”
He’s got the most endearing smile. Some smiles are too perfect—the teeth sculpted and whitened to a neon glow—but his are straight and white without dipping into social media influencer territory. The dimples sure aren’t hurting his cause, either, or the way he catches his lower lip with his teeth. “Definitely not referring to you, although having you in my arms was the highlight of the evening.”
I’m tempted to look away from his intense stare, but opt to meet it head-on. My fingers slide down his torso, hooking in his jeans, and I feel his breath hitch. “Most importantly, he needs to know how to touch me.”
Oblivious to the crowd, Owen cups my ass, bringing me against him. His mouth drips kisses along my jaw as his fingers run the length of my spine. “I could spend years touching you and never get bored. Just say the word, and I’ll take you back to my hotel where I’ll spend the rest of the night exploring every inch of this delicious body.”
“Interesting proposition.”
“I told you earlier, Tally. It’s a promise I’m dying to keep.” His hands frame my face and everything—all preconceived notions, past events, and broken hearts—fly out the window. “Tell me what you want, Tally.”
I curl my fingers into his belt loops, pulling him flush against me. I feel his erection straining, and it takes everything in my power to not slide my hand along him. “Kiss me like you can’t hold back a second longer.”
“I can’t.” He winds one hand into my hair, forcing my head back, as he nuzzles my neck, dropping kisses along my collarbone. His free hand fingers the zipper of my dress, tantalizing me with promises of all the places he’ll kiss if I only say the word.
He tongues a path up my neck, nipping at my earlobe, his breath hot against my skin. All the while, I feel his fingers lowering my zipper, pushing my limits, seeing how far I’ll let him travel in such a public space.
“Owen,” I murmur, my nails scratching along his arms as every nerve cell fires at once. He tightens his grip in my hair before capturing my lips. His tongue traces along the roof of my mouth at an achingly slow pace. Teasing me. Priming me. When I slide my tongue against his, eager to take part, he pulls my hair.
He wants complete control, and I want to give it to him. He delivers his delicious brand of torture until I’m heady with lust.
A drunken bar patron jostles us, jolting us from our moment. I run my tongue along my upper lip, holding Owen’s stormy gaze. “What am I going to do with you, Owen?” I manage to whisper.
He slides his hand under my dress, his thumb circling my clit, and I whimper in surprise. I’m never this forward, but with Owen, I don’t want him to stop.
Screw public indecency. Owen is so worth the ticket.
His mouth settles against my lips, while his fingers slide inside me, and I writhe against his hand, desperate for more. “Everything, Tally.”

Our Review:
WOW!! Now that was a way to finish of the Kennedy Boys series, after 10 books I am sad to say goodbye to this family and I think Siobhan saved the best till last.
Kent is the playboy and the troubled / reckless Kennedy; everyone thinks they know Kent and when he meets Presley she doesn’t think any different. Presley isn’t falling for the Kent Kennedy charm which makes him want her even more.
I cannot say anymore without ruining anything for you but do not hesitate you need this story ASAP!

I feel like I have been waiting for this story forever, after reading Adoring Keaton I wasn’t sure how I felt about Kent, but after reading his story I think he might have latched onto my heart and is my favourite Kennedy.
