Our Star-Crossed Kiss is book 4 in the Rooftop Crew series, while this can be read as a standalone I highly recommend starting from the beginning.
After 20 years worth of rivalry between 2 families it all comes down to this, Seth and Evan. Evan has stepped up and taken on the family business even when it wasn’t her dream, when a TV show competition comes to town of course the 2 bagel businesses are put head to head and that’s where everything changes. Seth has his own dreams and he knows they do not include the family business, his brother’s addiction and helping with the store is holding him back. Can Seth and Evan ever be free?
I personally enjoyed this story, Seth has been a constant throughout the series and I just knew that they would have their own story. Piper and Rayne continue to be the dynamic duo that you just cannot get enough of; I cannot wait for Knox and Lelani’s book, The Do Over.

I’m pretty sure if you’ve been following The Rooftop Crew Series you’ve been waiting for Evan and Seth to say screw it and jump each other. Well, it’s finally happening in Our Star Crossed Kiss and I was here for it! A little family rivalry, an ex who doesn’t know when to quit, and you have my attention. I don’t want to say too much and give something away, but I loved this book Seth and Evan were perfect for each other. Piper and Rayne get me every single time, do yourself a favor, and take the jump on reading them if you haven’t yet.
Evan and Seth grew up together. Their families were business partners until something tore them and their families apart. So from that day forward Seth and Evan were forced to feel like they hated each other, even though they didn’t. When an opportunity arises that makes them join forces to say they jump on, it would be an understatement. The question is, can they bring their families together once more? And what happens when your heart gets involved?
