Release + Review - Inevitable - Jenna Hartley



 

When my dad asked me to intern for his best friend, I knew I should've said no. 

I had my own plans for the summer. Ones that didn't include revisiting my childhood crush. 

Sleeping with the boss? Probably not what my dad had in mind when he asked for my help. 

But from the moment I step foot in the office, I can think of little else. I still want Jonathan. 

Am I willing to gamble my relationship with my dad and my heart.

Inevitable is a standalone story that has a age gap / forbidden / office romance; it has all the feels. 

Johnathan aka Wolfe is running a very successful business but a personal life is pretty much non-existent. When his best friend asks him to take his daughter on as a intern for the Summer he cannot help but say yes, but when Sumner walks through the door he knows he has made a mistake. Spending all Summer with the gorgeous woman that she has turned into is not going to end well. 

Wolfe and Sumners chemistry is off the charts, from the moment they saw each other it was on, it was only a matter of time before something happened leaving them wondering how they proceed without hurting the one person that means the most to both of them. 

I personally enjoyed this story, there was so much emotion throughout I was extremely envious of the relationship they both grew into.
