Release + Review - Southern Heart - Natasha Madison

Some secrets have a way of coming back and haunting us, no matter how much we try to bury them.

Coming back home was supposed to be normal.
Not that my life had ever been normal, but it was getting there.
Then I opened the door and found a man—broken, bloodied, and fighting for his life.
I don’t know why, but I said I would take care of him. I had to. Needed to.
He was a mystery, showing up from out of nowhere. But he might have already stolen my heart.

Mayson Carey
The only thing I have ever wanted in my entire life was to forget who I was. Joining the military helped me do this.
Keep your head down and glide through life was my new motto. No strings, no relationships. Nothing.
Everything was working until a knock at the door had me face-to-face with the reason I was running.
So I ran—I fell into her arms, and she fell into my heart, but I know better than to think it’ll last.
Some secrets have a way of coming back and haunting us, no matter how much we try to bury them.

Louise's Review
Southern Heart is book 5 in the Southern Series, a series that spans decades and feels like home when you pick a book up and catch up with a family that has been through it all.

Chelsea has had a thing for her brothers’ friend from the moment he first brought him home, years of having a crush and now it all leads to this one moment when she finds him on her brother’s door step on the verge of death. Mayson didn’t know where else to go, the person that destroyed everything is still out there and bringing his troubles to his friends is not ideal. Falling for Chelsea and believing he has a future is something he never dreamed of happening, finding the person that did this is priority one before they can hurt anyone else.

I personally loved this story, I have read this series from the beginning and I feel like I have watched all these characters grow, If you want a small town romance then this is your story/series.

 Johnaka's Review
“Brothers best friend, 5 stars”

Ever since Chelsea’s brother brought Mayson home for the first time, she’s wanted him. When he falls through the door during a story severely injured, she doesn’t know what to do. But her training kicks in and she nurses him back to health. While her family concentrates on finding the man responsible, she’s slowly worming her way into Mayson’s heart.

Mayson has always wanted Chelsea. But a woman like her deserves so much more than him. Being forced to be around each other though brings all their suppressed feelings to the surface. Will he be able to keep her at arm's length or will he finally cave into his biggest desire and get the girl?

Madison killed it with Southern Heart. One thing is for sure, it had a whole lot of heart and I absolutely loved seeing some of Madison’s other characters. If you love small town romances with some action, look no further.

Meet Natasha Madison:

When her nose isn't buried in a book, or her fingers flying across a keyboard writing, she's in the kitchen creating gourmet meals. You can find her, in four inch heels no less, in the car chauffeuring kids, or possibly with her husband scheduling his business trips. It's a good thing her characters do what she says, because even her Labrador doesn't listen to her...
