Whew what a hot book! Shift is the first in the fuel trilogy. This book has many twists and turns that will leave you wondering how the heck we got to the end! It does end on a cliffy, but it's well worth it. I loved the racing aspect added in with the forbidden love. It made for an interesting adventure.
The plot of this book is great. The dynamics between Dustin, Tommy, and Hannah is written perfectly. I truly felt the anticipation and angst bleeding from the pages. The way the characters were feeling hit me in the gut and made me want to cry or get angry for them.
Needless to say, I cannot wait for book 2 to come out. I am in desperate need to see what happens next.
