REVIEW - His Angel (Trident Security #2) - Samantha Cole

TITLE: His Angel (Trident Security #2)AUTHOR: Samantha Cole

Synopsis:

The 'Sexy Six-Pack' is back! The men of Trident Security are ex- Navy SEALs, hardened warriors with hearts of gold.

Angelina 'Angie' Beckett has been waiting a long time for Mister Right. Unfortunately, all her boyfriends have turned out to be Mr. Wrong. None of them have been able to hold her interest for long and give her what she craves in a relationship. That is, until she meets her new neighbor's boss.

Ian Sawyer stopped believing in 'soul-mates' after his fiancee walked out the door ten years ago without a backwards glance. Now, he needs for a woman to spell out exactly what she wants from him. When he starts to fall for the woman he's protecting, he can't help but wonder when she'll realize that love is not enough for a lifetime of happiness.

When trouble knocks on Angie's front door, she puts her life in Ian's hands. His security team is determined to keep her alive at all costs, but will someone die in her place? And when the smoke clears, will Angie walk out of Ian's life forever?

Warning - 18+ Contains elements of BDSM, hot sex and even hotter Doms!

My Thoughts:

Samantha Cole has done it again with the sexy Trident Men, love story, and continuing the BDSM lifestyle!
I really enjoyed reading this book and thought it was better than her first story!
In His Angel you are introduced again to the 6 sexy Trident Security Men.

Brody “Egghead” who is the computer geek and master hacker.
Jake “Reverend” Donovan the team sniper.
Marco “Polo” DeAngelis the communication specialist.
Ben “Boomer” Michaelson the demolition explosive expert.
Devon “Devil Dog” Sawyer the teams breacher and lead climber.

Ian and Devon are brothers they own the club. Kristen is Devon’s fiancĂ©. She writes romance novels.
Brody’s neighbor, Angelina (Angie) Beckett is very sexy. She has company over, which the men think is her boyfriend. James Athos (Jimmy Andrews) cares a lot about Angelina. They are best friends who met in high school. James asks the Trident men to take care of Angelina when he goes undercover again. He fears for her safety so asks the men to look after her.

As the story progresses, Ian and Angie get to know each other in more ways than one! She gets to know more about them being Navy Seals and what they went through. Ian held the highest rank in the group as Lieutenant. Angie is a graphic designer. She showed Ian the book cover of Lydia’s Desire.

This is when the conversation starts up about BDSM and the story gets interesting! The chemistry between Ian and Angel was really hot! Angie was interested in the BDSM lifestyle and Ian showed/told her what it like. Ian took her to The Covenant, where Kristen, Dr. Roxanne and Kayla were.
Angie knew Kristen's name before. She is going to be designing the cover of her new book since she got a contract from Red Rose Books.
Ian calls Angie, Angel.  I’m not going to go into any more detail, so grab this book up to find out what happens! I can't wait to see what happens in book 3! I would recommend this book to a friend.

Some quotes/parts of the story I liked:

Her smile was flirtatious and infectious. “I’d be happy to teach you a bit about what I know.”
“Only if you let me teach you a bit about something I know some time.”

“You need to talk to Ian. If you are interested in exploring, he’s one of the men I would recommend you do it with”

“Nothing gives me greater pleasure than knowing I’ve given her everything she needs to achieve her own pleasure and/or emotional release and she trusted me to give it to her.”

“He’ll always be my friend, but it’s you I’m in love with.”  “And I’m in love with you, my sweet angel.”

“I’m a firm believer of soulmates. But I also believe not everyone is lucky enough to find theirs. You two have; in each other. You have something between the two of you I have never had the privilege to see before up close.”
