REVIEW - Wait with Me - Amy Daws

TITLE - Wait with Me
AUTHOR - Amy Daws

Blurb:

When romance novelist Kate Smith suddenly gets writer's block as she's beginning the final instalment of her international bestselling erotic Bed 'n Breakfast series, she'll do pretty much anything to get her groove back.

Like sneak into a Tire Depot waiting room because her words flow there just like complimentary coffee-smooth, sweet, and scorchingly hot.

She manages to fly under the radar until the rugged and charming mechanic, Miles Hudson, notices the quirky redhead slinking in and out of the employees only entrance.

But she's way too intriguing to blow the whistle on.

Doing a test-drive of her new book idea sounds like a much better option.

Johnaka's Review:

“Tire Depot romance, 5 stars”

I wasn’t 100% sure what to expect before reading Wait with Me. It is a mix of partly real-life experience for Daws and whole lot of fiction. Now if you haven’t heard the story about Daws writing in a tire shop then you’ll never know what is real and what is fiction. Wait with Me is funny and quirky and has Daws humor all over it. It was a fun read that made me really want to get to know the other characters better as well. For a book that wasn’t even on Daw’s radar until recently she definitely hit it out of the park.

Miles spent the last decade with someone who didn’t appreciate him and now he’s making up for lost time by playing the field. When he meets Mercedes, he knows she’s not one-night stand material but friend material. What happens if the quick banter between them turns into something more? Will he be willing to hang up his bachelor ways for her?

Kate feels like her she’s boring when she’s herself, but as soon as she slips on her author hat as Mercedes she feels whole. When she lost her words and then found them at a tire shop she didn’t expect to meet and fall for a mechanic. But what happens when Miles learns her secret, will she get to type happily ever after on their story?
