“The final installment of the Office Roulette series, 5 stars”
Well that time has come folks, if you’ve followed the Office Roulette series then you finally find out who the killer is. And let me tell you, your in for a surprise. I didn’t see the killer coming right up until the end when all the pieces finally clicked. Layne has a way with suspense and keeping us on our toes until the very end.
I will be 100% honest, I didn’t want to like Cynthia. From what I had gathered of her she was closed off and maybe even a little cold. But with Gareth she lights up. Unfortunately for her she’s in the middle of her boss’s murder mystery. Cynthia is like a dog with a bone and cannot let it go until she has answers. When some truths about her boyfriend and her dead boss come to light she doesn’t know what to do.
Gareth really didn’t have feelings about what happened to Cynthia’s boss. He’s more or less worried about her somehow falling into the killer’s crosshairs. He will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. When Cynthia learns of the secret between Brad and him he knows he can sway her back to his side. Its only a small road bump. Then the real bump hits. When he sees their lives together flash before his eyes. Will he get his happily ever after with the only woman he’s ever loved, or will he lose her to a killer?
