Release+Reviews-The Perfect Duet-Meghan Quinn

The Left Side Of Perfect – Release Day – August 30
For better or for worse,'til death do us part . . .
The better captured me; she's who stole my heart.
And made me realize I couldn’t live without this woman.
The worse of her took my breath away--kicked me when I was down and twisted me into a million knots.
When I first met her, I thought she was someone I would never see again.
The second time I ran into her, it was a random coincidence.
The third?
I didn’t know it at the time, but she was the girl I was going to marry.
But life isn’t always perfect. You have to take the better and the worse--even if it means giving her up, having her slip between your fingers, and letting her walk away.
 I’m getting married.
This is forever, 'til death do us part.

The Right Side Of Forever – Release Day August 31
In sickness and in health, to love and to cherish . . .
It sounds so simple, to love someone unconditionally.
To give them your heart.
So why is she slowly eating away at my soul with every unanswered phone call, every unread text, and every door left unopened?
She said yes, and yet, in order for her to be with me . . . I need to let her go.

Our Reviews:

The Left Side of Perfect
“Change of pace, 5 stars”

I had no idea where Quinn was taking this series and dear lord did she make my heart hurt in the Left Side of Perfect. I was sucked in from the first page and literally had tears in my eyes on the last page. Left Side of Perfect is filled with all the feels. If you dive in to Left Side of Perfect make sure you have a box of tissues and a bottle of wine.
Colby thought he had found the love of his life in college but now things have changed. The girl is now marrying his best friend but fear not he’s over it. When Ryan decides to make sure Colby doesn’t make a fool of himself at the wedding he takes her up on it. He never expected to find a friend in her. He never expected to fall in love on his return to Vegas. Things are changing.
Ryan decided to help Colby out through the wedding, what she didn’t expect was for it to turn into more. When she moves to Vegas she finds a friend in the unlikely, Colby. Ryan wishes she could live on the left side of perfect but finds herself trying to live on the right. Colby reminds her she doesn’t need to be try and be perfect and that she’s perfect just the way she is.
Then things start to change. Will they be able to handle it?

Meghan you have killed me again, leaving me on this cliff waiting to find out which way Colby jumps; because if reading your previous duet has taught me anything you are nothing but unpredictable, in the best way possible.

Colby is living his dream; he has made it, but standing next to his best friend getting married to the girl who he once thought was it for him is a daunting moment. Ryan is starting to get itchy feet, she needs a change and she has sworn off men.

Colby is a straight shot man, he has had his eye on the prize and doesn’t let anything slip. He has a heart of gold and I believe he wants to find a happily ever after to have everything he never did as a child. Ryan hides her pain well, not many people see it but when you look closely she is still that young girl searching for approval and wanting to be accepted for who she is; insecurities and all.

Meghan I’m starting to think that you are enjoying making us squirm, leaving me on a cliff once again I can’t wait to see where this duet goes. Your dual POV’s is always a great touch for me, I love knowing what both characters are feeling.

I personally loved this book, Meghan captured my heart again and I hope that Colby can find his happily ever after, and if he doesn’t Meghan I’m gunning for you. If you have not read The Blue Line Duet I would highly recommend reading it as it gives you a back story for both characters, I cannot wait to get stuck into The Right Side of Forever.

The Right Side of Forever

“Finding your forever, 5 stars”

If you’re going to read The Right Side of Forever you need to read The Left Side of Perfect. You cannot read one without the other. The Right Side of Forever picks right up where the Left Side of Perfect left off. So right away your heart hurts. Slowly but surely though, the pain lets up and at the end your heart will be full. Half the time in this series I wondered who ticked Quinn off because dear lord she put us through the ringer more than normal.
Colby cannot for the life of him figure out what is wrong with his best friend Ryan. She’s been acting strange. Then she starts seeing this guy and he has bad news all over him. The bad vibe between the two is throwing off his mojo in all parts of his life. Will he be able to figure out what’s causing the problems?
Ryan’s heart is hurting. She doesn’t know how to handle it and ever since she moved to Vegas her mental health keeps getting lower and lower. Ryan’s trying to cover her pain but when you have someone who knows you as well as Colby does its hard. Will her truth come to light or will she bury it down until its too late?
I’m honestly not a fan of duets but I really did enjoy this one. Colby and Ryan’s story needed to be done in two parts. I cannot wait to see if Quinn does books for anymore of the characters in this series.

When a book falls into place and everything aligns you know you have to shout it from the rooftops, Meghan you have delivered and it was truthfully the conclusion I was hoping for.

On the outside everything looks like a picture-perfect edition of a hallmark movie, on the inside away from the shiny exterior nothing is the way it should be. Colby has some decisions to make and finding out one crucial piece of information changes the way he see’s everything, including his future.

I really feel that over the past 4 books featuring Colby he has really grown into a confident and outgoing man, he is pushing himself outside of the box he had neatly created for himself. His dominance is showing throughout this book and he becomes the man his Father and Grandfather would be proud of. Ryan has her own set of issues but my frustration level with her grew throughout the book until I figured out what she was doing and all was forgiven. Ryan went from the little girl who was shamed and had zero self-worth to the woman who is able to stand with her head held high next to her man.

Meghan I will say it over and over again that your writing is absolutely flawless, you have me hook line and sinker with every page reading this book in one sitting I was extremely sad to turn the final page.

I personally loved this book and highly recommend you add it to your ‘want to read’ list, this book is the 2nd half of the duet book 1 being ‘The Left Side of Perfect’. I would also recommend going back to where these characters all begun in The Blue Line Duet as their backstories are critical to knowing each of these characters.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
