BLURB

Five guys. One bar. And a whole heap of sexy trouble…

Liam Callahan is devastatingly handsome, infuriatingly aloof and… my new boss? Put that at the top of the list of ‘Things I Wish I’d Known (Before I Was Panting in His Arms During a Sizzling Midnight Make-out Session.)’

My bartending gig at Rascals was supposed to be a fresh start for me. Now I’m juggling drink orders AND red-hot sexual tension - but I refuse to let Liam’s smoldering stares throw me off my game…

Until one late night leads to another. And another. Liam has a reputation as Mr Heartbreaker, but he’s revealing a whole new side of himself: funny, playful, and most definitely NSFW. But this rascal has made a rule of never getting in too deep, and despite the real connection between us, something’s holding him back.

Can we find a way to put the past behind us and move on? Or will my new beginning end in heartbreak before it’s even begun?

Find out in the hot new stand-alone romance from Katie McCoy!

OUR REVIEWS
Another amazing story by Katie McCoy! Heart Breaker is the third book in the Rascal series by Katie McCoy. It can be read as a stand-alone, but the characters from the first two books are featured in this book as well. This book is all about Liam. We met Liam in the first book and have had a chance to get to know him in book two as well. I was excited to read his story and I was not disappointed. This book has romance, heat, and drama.
The plot of this book is much like the other books, yet also unique. Each book in this series finds unlikely pairs attracted to each other, but scared to take a chance. In Heart Breaker, Liam has a firm control on his life. He knows exactly what he wants out of life and will stop at nothing to get it. Until Juliet crashes into his life. She is opposite from everything he has ever said he wanted in a woman. So why is he so enamored by her?
Juliet is an amazing character. What I love most about her is that she doesn’t let her fear rule her. She has lived such a structured life that it must have been scary for her to lose everything she has ever known. I loved her attitude and sass, but I also loved that she was okay with just feeling what she needed to feel. Then you have Liam. He is such a control freak. I will admit, he isn’t my favorite male in this series, but he did worm his way into my heart. I loved watching him learn what life is all about.
The heat between these two are there from the very first chapter. There are just some people who have attraction and chemistry from the first time they lay their eyes on each other. That is Liam and Juliet. I loved watching them find their way through this chemistry that neither seemed to know what to do with. I loved watching these two heat up the pages.
The writing style of this book is great. The pace of the book is steady. I loved the push and pull between the characters. This book also made me tear up. I felt each emotion Juliet felt. I really resonated with her. This story is told from a dual point of view. I  liked getting to see from each persons point of view.
Overall, I really loved this book. While Liam wasn’t my favorite male in this series, Juliet was my favorite female. I really cannot wait for the next book. Sawyer has been such a staple in the series. I am excited to see some woman knock him on his bum. I am even more excited to see Dante’s book. I think I know who he ends up with. His book is going to be explosive.

The Rascal series just keeps getting better and better, I am totally hooked on these guys and I want to be part of the Rascals Family.

Juliet has lost everything she ever had ever known, Ballet was her life now she is testing the waters on finding herself and what better way to do it than become a bar tender, especially working for the guy that she made out with the night before. When casual turns to exclusive she has fallen hard and hoped that Liam felt the same, except when he starts ticking off some of those items on his life list and Juliet is not on it.

Liam is gorgeous, controlled and is the ultimate list maker, he is so hot and cold I felt like shaking him into living outside the box. He is very goal orientated and is determined to succeed in life, these things are very attractive in a man. Juliet is lost, she doesn’t know where she belongs in this world. Finding her path gives her confidence and meaning, something that comes across in spades throughout the book.

From the very moment Juliet and Liam make eye contact it is on, they were 2 magnets drawn to each other not even realising they were searching for meaning. When the finally come together they explode and I don’t even think they knew it could be that amazing.

Katie drew me in from the very beginning, she has a way of making you want to be part of this series. I love having both characters POV it gives you the best insight into the minds of Juliet and Liam. Again, Katie’s minor characters are fabulous with hilarious banter and friendships that will make everyone jealous.

I personally loved this book, I would recommend reading this whole series as there is back stories for several of the characters that pop up in the series and ones that stories are yet to come. I look forward to Sawyer’s story in Soulmate and I can only imagine it is going to be as good as the rest.
