BLURB

I’m the girl who likes ‘the cock in the back hole’

At least, that’s what the dating profile my so-called friends set up for me claims. I’m also into BDSM, Furries and ‘I’ll try anything twice.’

I have no idea the profile exists until the replies start rolling in. They range from funny, to downright creepy and everything in between. Just as I’m shutting down my email account for good, a new message pops up.

He’s funny and he's the only one to suspect the profile is a joke, so I think what the hell? I reply.

When he suggests that we meet, I say yes. When I walk into that bar, he's sitting at a table, facing the other way. He turns his head just enough for me to be able to make out his face…

Fuck.

It’s Cameron Hunter, one of the rudest, most arrogant assholes I’ve ever had the displeasure of meeting.

He's also the son of one of the state's most influential judges.

The same judge who's about to become my step-father...

OUR REVIEW

Payback’s a B, is the 6th book in the standalone series; Awkward Love. Missy has yet again reeled me in hook line and sinker!

Bring born on April fool’s day sounds like a great laugh for everyone, except when your friends post the most obscene add on ‘Anything Goes’, When Darcy starts receiving messages and even a prowler she puts her foot down to have the ad shut down, little does she know that her soon to be Step-Brother Cameron has seen the ad and has decided that getting to know her via text in the best option considering she has already her own option up about him. When the truth comes out and they both start taking the game too far they are both left feeling lied to and hurt. Can they overcome the mess they have made and start fresh?

Darcy is hands down the best character, she embraces everything that is thrown at her and takes it in her stride, she brings the meaning pranking someone to a whole new level. Cameron is a playboy, he is arrogant and full of confidence.

Each new book Missy brings out in this series is better and better, I was laughing at the beginning and through to the last page, Darcy’s mother is hilarious in her own way leaving me wondering how much fun she would have growing up with, Mac is a fantastic minor character he is hilarious and says what he wants whenever he wants more inappropriate the better.

I highly recommend this book and Missy’s entire Awkward Love series; all 6 books are standalone’s and are crazy funny leaving you giggling to yourself even after you have put the book down. I can only hope and pray that Missy continues to write more in the series because she has hands down proven to be a fantastic Rom-Com writer.

“Prank wars, 4 stars”

Poor Darcy’s birthday falls on April Fools so her whole life people have been pranking her on her birthday. Her best friends this year post an ad that spirals so far out of control its not even funny. Somehow her going to be step brother finds out and joins in on the fun, only it turns into something more. Will the harmless prank turn into something more?
Cam is intrigued by how unassuming Darcy is, she honestly doesn’t see how she pulls people toward her. When he finds a creep on creeping on her he can’t help but step in. One prank turns into two and so on and so on. Will these harmless pranks turn into something more? Because there is one thing Cam is about to learn that there is more to Darcy than what meets the eye.
I did enjoy these two and their antics but honestly for me it was a little much. I loved how the younger brother Mack was in on it all and honestly, he may be my favorite character. I cannot wait to see if Johnson gives him a book when he gets a little older.
