Our Review:
The Twin Estates Series blew my mind. I had the amazing
opportunity to read and review this entire series and let me tell you I was not
disappointed. All three of these books were amazing!
Neighbors
This book introduced some very interesting situations to me.
This book has a love triangle, but it is unique in the way that we get to read
from all three characters point of view at points. I love our main female. She
is strong and goes on a journey of self-discovery throughout this book. I
really liked her whole story line and how she handled everything thrown her
way. Then you have the two main males. Liam is exactly what I need in my life.
He is fun and flirty, but seems like he could really be good for a woman. Then
you have Wulfric. He is amazing in his own way. He is more serious with a dry
sense of humor. He can be very intense.
The heat in this book is dialed up to 10. There are scenes
in this book that had me going “Holy cow. Where is this going next?” Let me
tell you though. The ending is what had me on the edge of my seat. I did not
guess where exactly this was going to end up. This first book took me on such a
wonderful, yet bumpy ride.
The Neighborhood
This book is a follow up to book one. I liked that we got to
see the aftermath from the ending to book one. It was nice to see where our
Katya ended up. She is seriously one badass character. Even thought she had
some serious stuff happen to her, she picked herself up and kept her head high.
I love that about her. We also get to see our two men again. It was nice to see
how they had changed after everything happened as well.
The heat in this book is still there, but a bit dialed back.
I would say it is at about a 7. I think I might feel this way also because the
shock factor was dealt in book one. I still did enjoy this book and all the
characters in it. I especially loved the ending. I feel like it was perfect for
the story that was written. So who did she end up with? Read on to find out.
Block Party.
So if you haven’t read the first two books, then stop here. Don’t
read anymore. Go back and read the others, otherwise you are ruining it for
yourself. Have you stopped? Okay good. Now if you are still reading this, then
I assume you have read the other two books and this is not ruining anything for
you. If it does, then it is your own fault.
This book is all about Liam. Our fun loving jokester from
the series. I was happy when I found out he had his own book because he
honestly became my favorite character. He is exactly what I like in a man. He
is hot and sexy, but also has humor and can be a good friend. This is important
in a man. I liked having more personal time with him in this book.
I don’t want to say much about the female because I feel it
will ruin the surprise. I was not expecting it to be who it was. At first, I
was sure it was going to be someone completely different. Seriously, great job
surprising me. The heat in this book is as good as the rest. I still think the
heat in the first book topped all the rest, but it was not lacking by no means
in this book. Liam is one hot lover.
Overall, these were some amazing books. I cannot wait to
read more from this author. If you have time and are looking for something on
the hot and wild side, pick up this series. It will not disappoint.
