Our Review:
Holy Wedding Disaster! The Decoy is exactly what was promised. A story full of scandal and disaster. This book does have romance, but it also has mystery. Take a gander inside and see if you can figure out what is going on.
What happens when your best friend asks you do them a solid and play the decoy girlfriend at a family wedding? Well if you are a good best friend, you say to heck with it and jump on the plane. What they don’t expect is the secrets and scandal that will follow. Or the fact that they might just meet someone who will make their heart race and palms sweat. Welcome to Mexico!
Reagan is such a great character. It is obvious that she is a very caring and empathetic person. Even more, she is also a regular person even thought looking at her on paper you would expect the opposite. I loved how funny and strong she is. Then you have Zach. He is smart, attractive, and not at all comfortable with his place in this group. One thing that you can say about him, though, he is a very loyal person. That is the best thing about him.
Oh my heat. There is just something about a book when the plot starts with a fake anything. You just know the chemistry is going to be off the charts. Add in two very attractive characters with a common goal and well I would be surprised if the sheets weren’t on fire. I really enjoyed the heat aspect.
The writing style in this book is good. The story has a steady pace. The story is told from a dual point of view. The characters are dynamic and make you love them. I really loved the minor characters. There is one character in particular that I hope gets their own book. He deserves it.
Overall, I loved this story. All the secrets, scandal, and drama was perfect for me. I really liked the detective aspect of the book that made me want to find out what was going on more than the characters. I would recommend this book to others for sure.
